Emmanuel Acho breaks silence as Fox Sports show is shockingly cut along with Joy Taylor
Emmanuel Acho issued a stark message after his Fox Sports show was axed by the network as part of a brutal shakeup. Fox Sports is reportedly set to cut three shows, including 'The Facility,' the talk show Acho co-hosts alongside fellow former NFL players Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy. In addition to 'The Facility,' the networks is also getting rid of 'Breakfast Ball' and 'Speak,' which features host Joy Taylor. The facility only made its on-air debut last September, filling the void left by Skip Bayless and his 'Undisputed' show. And Acho didn't mine his words as he frankly spoke out in the aftermath of Fox's cancellations. 'In sports, when you're not good enough, you get cut,' the former NFL star shared to X. 'In TV, when you're not good enough, you get cancelled. 'I'm not going to try and come to y'all with some "Big announcements soon. Stay tuned" because I don't actually know what's coming. But what I do know is I trust God.' In addition to Acho, Taylor fell victim to the cuts. Acho also previously co-hosted 'Speak' before joining 'The Facility', leaving Taylor to take over the lead hosting duties on the latter. The news of their exits come months after Taylor was accused of using sexual relationships with the former linebacker and network executive Charlie Dixon to further her career. The shock allegations stemmed from a bombshell suit, which was filed on behalf of hair stylist and former Fox employee Noushin Faraji, which named Taylor, Dixon, former FS1 host Skip Bayless and the Fox Corporation. Taylor, 38, was alleged to have told make-up artist Faraji to 'get over it' when she confided in her about claims she was sexually assaulted by top programming executive Dixon. Taylor denied the allegation. Back in January, Taylor was also alleged to have used 'her sexuality to get on a show' when she sought a spot on Acho's program 'Speak'. She denied 'each and every allegation against her', with lawyers branding the lawsuit 'a transparent attempt to improperly leverage media attention and public perception to extract financial gain.' Two weeks ago Taylor finally spoke out about the lawsuit that embroiled several Fox Sports stars in scandal, claiming the allegations left her battling 'dark times', 'grief' and 'trauma'. Much of the lawsuit focused on allegations of sexual harassment, sexual battery, negligent supervision, retaliation and other hostile workplace issues between 2012 and August of 2024. Bayless was accused of offering $1.5million to Faraji for sex, while Dixon was accused of groping the stylist's buttocks. Back in April, reports claimed Fox Sports executive Dixon had lost his job after being accused of sexual battery in two separate lawsuits. He was also accused in another case of pinning former Fox Sports host Julie Stewart-Binks against a wall and forcibly kissing her during a 2016 meeting in a hotel room. Dixon denied that claim. Bayless also denied the allegations against him, while Fox Sports asked for the case to be dismissed 'in its entirety.'

Fox Sports Closing In On Massive Deal With Barstool Sports
Fox Sports Closing In On Massive Deal With Barstool Sports originally appeared on The Spun. Fox Sports is making a bunch of changes to its programming ahead of football season. It was reported this week that Fox Sports is canceling a few daytime shows, including "The Facility" and "Speak." That puts popular analysts such as Emmanuel Acho, Keyshawn Johnson and LeSean McCoy in limbo. Joy Taylor, meanwhile, is not expected to have her contract renewed. That's not the only major report involving Fox Sports to come out this week. According to Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, Fox Sports is working on a deal that'll change its coverage for "Big Noon." If this deal gets finalized, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports would make appearances on the popular college football show. "The network is nearing an expansive deal with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that would include him appearing on its college football pregame show. The deal would also involve Barstool content being featured on FS1, sources told Front Office Sports," Glasspiegel wrote. "The deal has not been finalized, and a Fox Sports spokesperson declined to comment." Portnoy is one of the most polarizing personalities in sports, so this would be quite the gamble for Fox Sports. "Big Noon" has been around since 2019. The show stars former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, former USC quarterback Matt Leinart, former Alabama running back Mark Ingram, and former Notre Dame signal-caller Brady Quinn. The crew also includes Rob Stone and Chris "The Bear" Fallica. Adding Portnoy would most likely help "Big Noon" improve its ratings in the 18-to-34 demographic. Would you be in favor of Portnoy joining "Big Noon" this fall?Fox Sports Closing In On Massive Deal With Barstool Sports first appeared on The Spun on Jul 16, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jul 16, 2025, where it first appeared.

College Football Fans Announce Boycott Of 'Big Noon Kickoff'
College Football Fans Announce Boycott Of 'Big Noon Kickoff' originally appeared on The Spun. Fox Sports is facing a lot of backlash Wednesday due to the latest report regarding "Big Noon Kickoff." In 2019, Fox Sports added "Big Noon Kickoff" to its weekend programming to compete with ESPN's "College GameDay." The show features a plethora of notable names, including Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart, Mark Ingram and Brady Quinn. According to Front Office Sports, there's a chance Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy will join "Big Noon Kickoff" for the 2025 college football season. A deal is being discussed at this time. "The network is nearing an expansive deal with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that would include him appearing on its college football pregame show. The deal would also involve Barstool content being featured on FS1, sources told Front Office Sports," Ryan Glasspiegel wrote. "The deal has not been finalized, and a Fox Sports spokesperson declined to comment." Portnoy, in theory, could help Fox Sports improve its ratings for "Big Noon Kickoff." It's a risky move though considering he's a controversial figure. Judging by the initial reactions to this potential collaboration, Big Ten football fans don't want to see Portnoy on "Big Noon Kickoff" this fall. "Every Ohio State game is Big Noon Kickoff and they want me to listen to DAVE PORTNOY every week while also never getting a prime time game? This is a nightmare," one fan said. "As if 'Big Noon Kickoff' couldn't get any worse," a second fan wrote on X. "Big Noon Kickoff is garbage," a third fan commented. "Why would I want to see Dave Portnoy on Big Noon Kickoff man, what are these loser media companies doing," a social media user asked. "As if I needed another reason to not watch Big Noon Kickoff," another person wrote. Fox Sports is canceling "The Facility" and "Speak," according to The Athletic. It makes sense for the network to add more talent. Can Portnoy help "Big Noon Kickoff" have its best year yet though? Cowboys fans will no longer be saddled with vociferous nonsense as FS1 cancels Speak
FS1 has cancelled Speak, removing two of Dak Prescott's most vocal critics, Joy Taylor and LeSean McCoy, from the network. Cowboys fans may see this as the end of a long, biased run. For years, FS1's flagship program Speak felt less like a sports show and more like a panel of hecklers in the cheap seats - loud, repetitive, and obsessed with tearing down Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. But this week, the curtain finally closed. As part of a broader shakeup to its daytime lineup, FS1 canceled Speak, along with two other shows: Breakfast Ball and The Facility. That means not only the end of a nine-year run for Speak (originally launched as Speak for Yourself), but also the quiet exit of hosts Joy Taylor and LeSean 'Shady' McCoy — two of the network's loudest voices when it came to criticizing the Dallas Cowboys. Their vitriol-veiled-as-analysis typically involved laps of the same recycled takes. McCoy in particular turned the phrase 'Dak Prescott is ASS ass' into a personal catchphrase, repeating it at every opportunity like it was part of the show's theme song. While Speak occasionally brought on insightful guests like David Helman or James Jones, the core cast never passed up a chance to blame Prescott for the Cowboys' perceived shortcomings or paint him as mediocre. At one point, Joy Taylor even argued he deserved more criticism than other quarterbacks simply because he 'wears a star on his helmet.' It's one thing to challenge a quarterback's performance. It's another to roast one man to the point that it's associated with the brand as it was with Speak. Now, some of the loudest voices in the anti-Prescott echo chamber are off the air. The cancellation comes amid legal drama at FS1, where Taylor is named in a lawsuit alleging she contributed to an unsafe work environment. Fellow Speak host Emmanuel Acho is also mentioned in the suit, adding another layer to the show's unraveling. Whether this shakeup leads FS1 in a better direction remains to be seen. But for Cowboys fans, it feels like the end of an exhausting off-Broadway run where the storyline never changed, and the Cowboys were always cast as the punchline.

Joy Taylor's FOX Sports scandal: Everything about the backstage drama, show cancellations, and lawsuit that led to her exit
Joy Taylor's departure from FOX Sports after nearly a decade marks a significant shift in her career (Image via IG) Joy Taylor's unexpected departure from FOX Sports marks a turning point in her high-profile media career. After nearly a decade on air, her exit comes amid controversy, network overhauls, and a growing shift toward personal brand-building in sports media. Longtime TV host Joy Taylor departs FOX Sports after network shake-up and off-screen drama After nearly a decade with FOX Sports, Joy Taylor's high-profile exit from the network marks a dramatic shift not only in her career—but also in how sports media handles scandal and reinvention. Taylor, 38, had become one of the most recognizable voices in sports broadcasting, first gaining traction on Undisputed with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe before co-hosting The Herd and ultimately fronting FS1's Speak alongside Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce. But now, after FS1 canceled Speak, Breakfast Ball, and The Facility, Taylor's time with the network has ended. While no official statement has been issued by FOX, the timing has led many to question if more than just programming cuts were behind the decision. Controversy off-camera may have influenced FS1's decision In the past year, Taylor has found herself at the center of swirling rumors and legal troubles. She was named in a harassment-related lawsuit involving a former colleague, and her name has been linked romantically to both FOX Sports executive Charlie Dixon and former cohost Emmanuel Acho. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 70歳のエンジニアが高齢者のために開発した爪切りが日本で話題に。 Wmet 今すぐ購入 Undo What's notable is that all three canceled shows were launched under Dixon's leadership—a connection that raises questions, even if unofficially, about whether internal politics and personal entanglements played a role in her departure. Despite the serious nature of these allegations, FS1 has not acknowledged them publicly. But for observers of the media industry, the optics are hard to ignore. FS1 is clearly shifting its strategy toward safer, brand-defining programming—namely The Herd and First Things First, which remain untouched. Joy Taylor pivots to independent success through her podcast and digital platform While Taylor may no longer be on daily sports TV, she isn't retreating from the spotlight. She continues to host her popular podcast Two Personal, originally co-hosted with Taylor Rooks, which now serves as a platform for candid interviews and cultural commentary. The show is gaining traction as more media personalities pivot toward digital-first, unfiltered formats. Taylor's move reflects a broader trend: athletes, celebrities, and broadcasters alike are bypassing traditional networks in favor of building independent, multi-platform brands. And for someone with her following and voice, it could end up being an even bigger stage.
