After their eventful trip in Italy, The Forresters are back in Los Angeles. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) had a close call when she fell overboard during a boat ride with Nick (Jack Wagner). But luckily, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was there to rescue his Logan. After her near-death experience, Brooke is thinking about her future and will have an important decision to make. When Nick stops by Forrester Creations to check on her, he has a surprise. Nick pulls out a ring and tells Brooke this isn't over for them because he loves her. Brooke was ready to ride off into the sunset with Nick in Italy, but have her feelings changed?
Meanwhile, Ridge's love for Brooke has reignited after she almost drowned. Yet, there's a problem keeping Bridge from reuniting: Ridge's engagement to Taylor (Rebecca Budig). This week, Ridge fills Taylor in on what happened in Italy. When the conversation switches to Brooke's love life, Taylor says Brooke's future is without Ridge. Taylor then declares that she's not taking off her ring.

After barging into Li's (Naomi Matsuda) place unannounced, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) discovered Luna (Lisa Yamada) is still alive. Sheila is overcome with emotion knowing her granddaughter isn't dead. However, she has many questions for Li, number one being why Li saved Luna. Will Li give Sheila the answers she wants?
Last week, Grace (Cassandra Creech) confessed to lying about Liam's (Scott Clifton) brain tumor. Liam was furious about Grace's manipulation, but that's nothing compared to Bill's (Don Diamont) reaction. As expected, Dollar Bill is shocked and furious, so it looks like Grace's punishment is just beginning.
