HRS: Drill Sergeant of the year
PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – For the second consecutive year, Staff Sergeant Forrest Minahen from the 128th Aviation Brigade was selected Drill Sergeant of the Year. He competed against 14 active duty and guard drill sergeants. When he reached the center of excellence level, he faced off against 14 guard drill sergeants and active duty. Currently, he is an integral part of the process of transforming humans into soldiers.
