HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Two people were arrested for firearm charges following a report of shots fired on Mt. Tom Ski Road. Two dogs returned after being stolen in Holyoke, three arrested The Holyoke Police Department states that on March 15th at 11:30 p.m., officers were sent to Mt. Tom Ski Road for a report of shots fired. Mt. Tom Ski Road is a restricted-access road, and a gate between Mt. Park Road and Mt. Tom Ski Road is typically closed. Officers learned information about a suspected vehicle and found the car on Woods Avenue. A traffic stop was conducted, and officers detained the driver, who was identified as 24-year-old Orlando Olmeda of Springfield, and the passenger, 18-year-old Amalia Siciliano of Chicopee. Two other passengers were also detained but were later released. A 9mm ghost gun, a shell casing, ammunition, and a firearm laser attachment were found inside the car. Police investigate triple stabbing at Holyoke McDonald's

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Three people were stabbed during an incident at the McDonald's on Maple Street in Holyoke Monday night. Four arrested in Holyoke after over 100 crack-cocaine vials, heroin seized The Holyoke Police Department states that at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Monday, officers were sent to the McDonald's at 285 Maple Street for an assault and battery report involving three men. An investigation revealed that an adult man entered the McDonald's and was followed by two other men. One of the men stabbed the first man with a knife, which prompted him to take out a knife and stab him back. The third man then allegedly stabbed the first man who was stabbed. The first man was taken to Holyoke Medical Center for his injuries. The second man was found with a serious stab wound at the intersection of High Street and Suffolk Street. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center and was placed under arrest. The third man has been identified but police are still searching for him. Detectives are urging him to turn himself in at the Holyoke Police Department. The incident is still being investigated by the Holyoke Police Detective Bureau. No further details have been released.
