The Invisible Sun and Englishman in New York singer, 73, will follow warm-up acts Sophie Grey and Alison Moyet before taking to the stage at 8.30pm.
And fans can still get their hands on last-minute tickets going for £75.80 a pop.
Sting delighted fans this afternoon as he left the five-star Kimpton Blythswood Hotel in Glasgow's city centre.
Donning a navy blue jumper, jeans and a green bag, the rocker stopped to take selfies and sign autographs for fans.
One lucky fan, Stuart Galloway, 56, from Glasgow, even managed to bag a signed Newcastle football top.
Another fan asked the star, who previously revealed he does yoga, if he still practices.
To which Sting replied, laughing: "Do I look like I do?"
