Love Island fans 'work out real reason' Dejon dropped L-bomb as they spot 'major pattern'

Despite the girls managing to 'kiss and make up' just a few days ago, the villa didn't say settled for long as tensions continued to rise in the latest challenge It was a huge night in Love Island tonight, as Dejon told his girlfriend Meg he loved her after meeting the family, but some fans aren't convinced. ‌ After making Meg his girlfriend in earlier episodes, tonight, Dejon took it one step further, telling her he loved her. Taking her up to the terrace, Dejon said: "My heart feels so safe with you. Speaking to my mum today, it was good reassurance to what I already knew. ‌ "The past few days, probably even longer, I've had this feeling when I look at you. It's such a big thing, but honestly, I do love you," he said. Meg looked ecstatic as she exclaimed: "I love you too!" ‌ Some fans grew suspicious of Dejon's declaration of love, after Meg's family told her they didn't see the pair expressing their love towards one another. The parents later said the pair were "too serious" asking whether they have fun and crack jokes between each other. Elsewhere, Meg's family crucified Dejon's "flirty behaviour," and told her she let him get off too lightly. ‌ Now, some fans the comments from last nights episode prompted him to drop the all important L-Bomb. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter one fan was convinced they'd spotted a pattern in Dejon's behaviour. "Something negative happens. Dejon: Lets go exclusive Something negative happens," the wrote. "Dejon: Will you be my girlfriend Something negative happens. Dejon: I love you," as another agreed: "Because dejon was told again there's no visual spark he has to pull out the I love you bag!" ‌ Another agreed: "dejon def abt to come in with the 'i love you' to try and seal him and meg as winners after the shambolic meet the parents LOOOOL nice try," with another writing: "Meg and Dejon's families said they need to see more intimacy and cute s**t and Dejon throws out the L bomb on the same night lmfaoooo." However, despite this - Dejon had previously mentioned to Harry that he was falling in love with Megan, but couldn't yet find the words to say it. Others were all for the declaration of love, as one wrote: "Meg and Dejon are the most genuine couple to ever go on love island." ‌ Elsewhere, The Islanders were back to their old ways during tonight's challenge, as tensions continued to rise during the Couple Goals challenge - putting a dampener on Meg and Dejon's news. Despite being over the moon when Yas read the text: "Islanders. It's time to reveal what you really think of each other in today's challenge, couple goals! #SmilingButJudging #StandOnBusiness," things quickly went downhill. The challenge, which was hosted by Meg and Dejon saw the pair read out questions which the Islanders will all answer in their couples as they select which couple they believe it applies to most. ‌ Tensions continued to rise when the dreaded question 'Which couple is most fake?', was read out. Once again, things turned awkward, as Harry and Shakira chose Blu and Helena. When giving their reasons, Helena interjected, 'That's a cop out mate.' They weren't the only ones with the fighting talk, as Meg and Dejon also chose Shakira and Harry, despite Harry being Dejon's best friend in the villa. 'I feel like Shakira, you've made some very hurtful comments to me that we're not very nice and I've always been there for you," Meg said. Will the Islanders kiss and make up?

Disgusted Love Island fans left feeling ‘sick' after last night's snogging challenge as they scream ‘end it now'

LOVE Island's Casa Amor descended into chaos last night after a raunchy game of Truth or Dare sparked a full-on snog fest. Viewers were horrified by the non-stop 'saliva swapping' in what they called the 'most unhygienic game yet'. 8 Ben enjoyed a raunchy three-way smooch with two Casa Amor ladies 8 Harry kissed his ex girlfriend Emma Credit: Eroteme 8 Harrison forgot all about Toni Credit: Eroteme 8 Dejon dived straight in with bombshell Andrada Credit: Eroteme 8 Harry also seemed unimpressed that Ben snogged his ex The Islanders were told to take a dare or tell the truth, but it turned into Islanders locking lips all over the place. Ben was told to snog the two Casa Amor islanders he was most attracted to in a 'three way kiss' and fans called it a 'germ-filled snogathon'. Ben picked Andrada as well as Harry's ex, Emma, for the raunchy moment. The racy kiss comes moments after Andrada chose Ben to help her demonstrate her favourite sex position in front of the whole group. Dejon then dived straight in for a kiss with bombshell Andrada. 'Just mixing saliva omg yuck,' one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter). 'This is disgusting – let's END it!!' another said, while many called the game 'a biohazard' and 'genuinely stomach-churning'. Another said: 'So much exchange of saliva from different people, omg,' one wrote. After reuniting with his ex in Casa Amor, Emma was quick to slam his behaviour as "snakey" and "disgusting". During a one-to-one conversation, Harry asked his ex of three year: "Well welcome to the mad house. Are you just... you're looking for some fun? I mean, what are you thinking?" Love Island fans insists Harry's ex Emma needs to win the show as she takes savage swipe at him and Helena Emma explained: "Well I'm here for the same reason as everyone else. I'm here to find someone." He then tried to turn on the flirty banter but Emma quickly shut him down and insisted he "drop the act". He asked her: "Why are you trying to be all wholesome? You little freak." But Emma fired back: "Don't use that language with me. Drop the act. No, drop the act real quick. That chat, you can save that for Helena." Emma then delivered some harsh truths, saying: "But your behaviour Harry..." He interjected and said: "No, I don't need you to come and tell me off." But Emma went on to brand her ex and Helena "two snakes", while saying she thought Shakira was "too good" for him. Emma hit out: "It's disgraceful though… like, how are you still doing the same thing? The way you've been moving with Helena honestly… You two deserve each other, I think you're a great couple... two snakes." Now viewers are desperate for Emma to make it into the main villa and for her to win the whole show. One wrote: "Give Emma the 50k, honestly been here five seconds and already put him in his place." A second said: "Emma, you know what I like you! Talking absolute facts." A third commented: "'You deserve each other, you're a great couple, two snakes', EMMA YOUR WORK WILL BE CELEBRATED." "Emma is my new winner guys. I love her," a fourth said. Another added: "'You two deserve each other, two snakes' oh Emma we will be getting you into the main villa." 8 Casa Amor's Emma put ex Harry in his place as she slammed his 'disgusting' behaviour Credit: Eroteme 8 The brunette beauty branded Harry and Helena 'two snakes' Credit: Eroteme

Islanders acquire D Scott Perunovich in trade with Blues

The Islanders have acquired defenseman Scott Perunovich from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. Perunovich has appeared in 24 games this season, recording two goals and four assists. He was originally selected in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft out of the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he took home the Hobey Baker Award after producing six goals and 34 assists during his senior season. He also represented the United States at the 2018 World Junior Championships and 2023 World Championships. Perunovich recently found himself on the outside looking in at playing time with St. Louis, having appeared in just two games since the calendar flipped to the new year. The offensive-minded defenseman should immediately find minutes with the Isles after Ryan Pulock landed on injured reserve earlier in the day with an upper-body injury suffered during Saturday's game.
