On Saturday, July 19, the musician, 59, attended her brothers Jackie and Marlon Jackson's performance at the Heritage Live festivals in Reading. Videos shared on Janet's Instagram Stories and photos taken at the festival show her watching from the wings with her rarely seen 8-year-old son, Eissa. During their performance, Jackie, 74, and Marlon, 68, also brought Janet out onstage for a quick guest appearance. The "Together Again" singer wore a green jacket and flared jeans, and styled her in a tight bun. Following the concert, Janet posted a series of clips of the concert filmed from backstage. In one video, the proud sister shared just how excited she was to see her older brothers perform. "Words can't express how much your nephew and I enjoyed tonite," Janet wrote. "It was so good seeing both of you as usual." "God bless you on your journey," she added. "We love you so much." In a post shared by the British music festival's official Instagram account, Janet could be seen grinning as she stood onstage alongside her brothers. "What a privilege it was to have a very rare appearance by @JanetJackson when she joined her brothers on stage last night at the @EnglefieldEstate and what a performance @TheJacksons gave us!" the caption read. "A real treat!" The iconic Jackson family tree also includes siblings Rebbie, 75, Jackie, Jermaine, 70, La Toya, 69, Marlon, Brandon (who died after birth in 1957), Randy, 62, and the late Michael and Tito. Members of the Jackson family gathered on Nov. 4 to mourn Tito, who died at age 70 on Sept. 15, 2024. Michael's children, Paris and Bigi (formerly known as Blanket), were in attendance at their uncle's memorial, according to photos obtained by PEOPLE at the time. La Toya and Marlon, along with Jermaine's children, Jaafar Jackson and Jermajesty Jackson, were also present, per the Daily Mail. The memorial was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Janet also recently celebrated her sisters La Toya and Rebbie on their birthday by sharing a sweet childhood photo of the trio. "I miss you both tremendously and love you incredibly!!!! Have an amazing special day!!! 😘😘😘 your little sister 🥰," Janet captioned the May 29 Instagram post. In the photo, the three sisters are wearing matching black and gold ensembles. Rebbie and La Toya share a birthday, but were born six years apart. One of Janet's most recent public appearances came just two weeks ago, when the singer stepped out with R&B star Maxwell on July 7, sporting an all-white pantsuit with a slicked-back bun. Photographs and fan videos shared on social media showed Janet smiling as she and Maxwell, 52, walked hand-in-hand into the Playhouse Theatre to catch the 1,500th performance of Cabaret — though Janet later confirmed to PEOPLE that she and the musician are "just two friends." The "Nasty" artist is set to wrap her current concert residency at Resorts World Las Vegas in September. Read the original article on People

The ex-Hollyoaks actor, who moved to Los Angeles to work in Hollywood, has signed up to celebrity dating app Raya. 'It's like he's saying I'm cuddly, hot and very available,' my mate said. 'His profile popped up a couple of weeks ago. It says he's an actor who lives in LA but was visiting London. 'Given how good he looks, I bet he had loads of people swiping on his profile.' READ MORE ON RICKY WHITTLE WHITTLE IT DOWN Ricky Whittle is worlds away from Hollyoaks as he films with Luke Hemsworth And judging by how well Raya is working for some in the capital, I'm not surprised Ricky is trying his luck back on home ground. Last month I revealed Lily Allen and James Norton had started hooking up, and they're both big fans of the app. Ricky is best known over here for playing Calvin Valentine on Hollyoaks. After his character was killed off in 2010, Ricky moved abroad and has starred in shows including The 100 and American Gods. He previously thanked Hollyoaks for giving him the best start in acting, saying: 'It's an education. "My character went from being the good guy, to the bad guy to the club owner, to the policeman, to your sister's on drugs, to you'd killed someone and then he's back to life.' I hope Ricky's experience on Raya is less of a rollercoaster than his on-screen Hollyoaks life. The group, now touring as brothers Jackie and Marlon, briefly introduced their chart-topping sister to the stage at their Heritage Live Festivals show at Englefield Estate near Reading. All For You singer Janet, who lives in London, hasn't been on stage in the UK since her critically acclaimed tour here last autumn. But with The Jacksons still going – they have another show in Audley End in Essex on July 31 – I'm hoping they can persuade her to entertain us again soon. DO NOT BELIEVE ALL YOU SIA 11 Sia was snapped hand in hand with fellow Aussie Harry Jowsey Credit: Getty SIA has seemingly wasted no time moving from her husband Daniel Bernad after filing for divorce in March. The singer was snapped hand in hand with fellow Aussie Harry Jowsey, a reality star two decades her junior, who found fame on Netflix dating show Too Hot To Handle. I use the word 'seemingly' because they are both notorious jokers, and this cosy snap of them heading out to dinner in LA looks like a hoax to me. It certainly isn't a 'romance' I saw coming. Currently on a tour of some of the most random locations around Europe, she played Tenerife at the weekend, where it looked like she was recreating positions from The Joy Of Sex. The Jenny From The Block singer got on all fours and was thrown about by hunky dancers during a particularly steamy routine. I can only hope I'm still that flexible when I'm in my fifties – and I'm sure my fella does too. As well as the tour, J-Lo is giving fans a gift for her own big day by announcing a single called Birthday. Encouraging fans to pre-save it online, she wrote: 'It's my birthday and you're all invited. Party details on Thursday.' Something tells me she won't be gorging on mountains of cake like the rest of us. RICK: I'M GUNNA TEAM UP 11 Rick Astley reveals whether work has begun on his tenth album Credit: Getty 11 He wants to work with Blossoms on original music Credit: Alamy RICK ASTLEY wants to work with Blossoms on original music after playing a handful of shows where they covered songs by The Smiths. The gigs with the indie band went down a storm and now the Never Gonna Give You Up singer has admitted he doesn't want to, er, give them up. In an exclusive chat with Bizarre, he said: 'Obviously Blossoms are amazing players, great musicians, and great writers. And I kind of think, yeah, it would be great to do something. 'We have talked occasionally about doing something, but I don't know what that would be. 'I'm always a bit nervous of it, because one of the weird things is, I want to keep my friends as friends, and I don't want to go through a recording process and fall out with them.' But fans have a wait on their hands for a follow-up to 2023's Are We There Yet?. Asked if he'd begun work on his tenth album, Rick said: 'No, we're having a quiet one this year, but I was in my studio this morning. I like tinkering. Who knows, we'll see. 'I don't think I'll ever stop making music, I just don't know whether anyone's going to listen to it.' BILLIE EILISH has teased she is working on 'something very special' with Titanic director James Cameron. During the first of her four Hit Me Hard And Soft tour dates at Manchester's Co-op Live on Saturday, the singer said the performance would form the basis of their new project, which fans have assumed will be a state-of-the-art live film. She told the crowd: 'I can't say much about it but I'm working on something very, very special with James Cameron and it's going to be in 3D. 'These four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying.' YOU couldn't blame Liam Gallagher for wanting to put his feet up in front of the telly during rare nights off from the Oasis tour. But the frontman, known for his wild nights out, has been enjoying high-brow evenings – at the theatre. One of my mates spotted him in the audience at Sadler's Wells in London this week watching a ballet of Quadrophenia. Somehow, I doubt Liam will be pulling on a tutu any time soon. LEIGH-ANNE has hinted she almost packed in her solo career amid her split from Warner Records. I told in May how the former Little Mix star had parted ways with the label and she's just released her new single Been A Minute as an independent artist. She said in her newsletter: 'So much has changed this past year – new chapter, new energy, new team . . . There were moments I wasn't sure this would even happen . . . I had to back myself again.'

Janet Jackson, 59, make surprise onstage appearance with her beloved brothers as she and rarely seen son Eissa, seven, support them at The Jacksons gig in Reading
Janet Jackson made a surprise onstage appearance while supporting elder brothers Jackie and Marlon as they performed as The Jacksons at Heritage Live Festivals in Reading on Saturday. The songstress, 59, and rarely seen son Eissa, seven, watched from the wings as the family band, which also once featured late brother Michael, sung the group's biggest hits for the crowd. Jackie, 74, and Marlon, 68, then introduced their sister who made her way on stage looking effortlessly stylish in an oversized plaid jacket and flared jeans. Later taking to her Instagram Stories Janet posted clips of the show as she gushed over her sibling's performance. She said: 'Words can't express how much your nephew and I enjoyed tonight. It was good seeing both of you as usual'. Before adding: 'God bless you on your journey. We love you so much'. Formed in 1964, the founding members of the band were elder brothers Jackie, Tito and Jermaine; younger brothers Marlon and Michael joined soon after. Janet became a mother at age 51 with her ex-husband Wissam Al Mana. The couple separated soon after the birth of her son. Speaking about Eissa last year she told The Guardian: 'The most important thing I've done, the biggest thing I've done, is become a mother, and it's had a beautiful impact on my life,' She continued: 'I wanted to have three children, but thought, "I should stop there, that's probably all I can handle." Because you have to give all of yourself,' she explained. 'Obviously, you have to work, but you don't come first anymore. Your life completely changes. And I wouldn't trade it for anything,' she said. In another interview, the Rhythm Nation hitmaker echoed the same statement, calling motherhood 'the most amazing thing she's ever done.' She also revealed the strict rules she has given her son, saying she is determined to make sure he has a normal childhood after she and her famous brothers were thrust into the spotlight at a young age. Janet amassed huge success since starting out as a child star in the 1970s and while she is 'so thankful,' she has insisted she will not be putting Eissa on the same path. 'I'm so thankful that God allowed me to experience motherhood, because it didn't have to be, she told host Judi Love on a recent episode of Loose Women. 'I do a lot of reflection, it's amazing because kids don't realize what you go through as a parent or what you have going on the back burner,' she said. 'It's about him. If that's what he wants, but I would say that he has to wait until he's of age and still make sure that's what he wants to do. 'Whatever you do is very difficult. The industry is very tough, but he would have to wait until he is 18,' she explained. The candid confessions about motherhood and her son in The Guardian come from the same interview in which the Good Times star revealed she believed Kamala Harris has a white father, which is the type of disinformation parroted on far right wing news channels like NewsMax. 'Well, you know what they supposedly said? She's not black. That's what I heard. That she's Indian,' Janet said. 'Her father's white. That's what I was told. I mean, I haven't watched the news in a few days. I was told that they discovered her father was white.' This is a talking point frequently referenced by now president Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election. Former VP Harris was born in 1964 to Dr Shyamala Gopalan, an Indian-born cancer researcher, and Donald J. Harris, a black Jamaican economics professor. The Jacksons next perform at Audley End, Essex on 31 July.
