Will Ana de Armas Join Avengers: Doomsday Cast? Here's What We Know
An insider shared new clues about Ana de Armas' involvement in the Avengers: Doomsday movie, but details about the character remain a secret. Ana de Armas has emerged as an action star with standout roles in No Time to Die and the John Wick spin-off, Ballerina. Now, rumours are swirling that she may join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). While fans have speculated about her Marvel debut before, nothing has been officially confirmed. Recently, insider Daniel Richtman hinted at her possible involvement in Avengers: Doomsday, though details about her character remain under wraps. Avengers: Doomsday was replaced by The Kang Dynasty. The upcoming movie will bring together many familiar and new characters, including Armas. One big surprise is that Robert Downey Jr. will return, but this time in a different role as Victor Von Doom, who is also known as Doctor Doom. As per Comic Book Movie, Richtman simply mentioned, 'Ana de Armas is being eyed for a big Marvel role." In December 2024, Daniel Richtman shared a similar rumour about Ana de Armas possibly joining the cast of Avengers: Doomsday in Patron, as per Super Hero Hype. He said the information came from someone who isn't directly involved in casting but heard it through a friend. The source claimed that Armas is in talks to play a role in the movie. Richtman added that if this turns out to be true, it will be very exciting for fans. However, Marvel has not confirmed anything about this rumour yet. During the same time, a source had told The Wrap that Chris Evans, known for playing Steve Rogers in the Marvel movies, will also come back for Avengers: Doomsday. If Armas joins the film too, it will reunite the stars after they worked together in the 2023 movie Ghosted. Along with Robert Downey Jr, Doomsday will also feature Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Kirby, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Tenoch Huerta, Simu Liu, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden and Channing Tatum. The fandom is always looking forward to upcoming Marvel movies, especially crossover projects like The Avengers. Someone "leaked" a script claiming to be a drag of the scrapped movie The Kang Dynasty, and it's pretty bananas. Let's break it all down. What we know about Avengers: Doomsday is limited, but that developing movie was created as The Kang Dynasty was dropped. This was unprecedented for fans who spent years watching the Marvel movies in order, and was presumably related to Jonathan Majors being fired from the role. If this script that made its way to reddit is legit, there were some big concepts at play before the blockbuster got dropped. This possible draft for The Kang Dynasty is truly wild from the start. Directly following Ant-Man 3's ending, Jonathan Majors' characters is thrown through the multiverse. Given just how much money Deadpool 3 made at the box office, the latter feels pretty much inevitable. Of course, it's important to take this rumored script with a grain of salt. Marvel's security is notoriously tight, so an entire draft leaking would be a shock. It's also important to note that we're on the eve of April Fool's Day, in which plenty phony reports arrive online. But while anticipation is building for what's to come with Doomsday, there are countless questions about what The Kang Dynasty would have brought us. When the Creed III actor was fired from the MCU, fans originally debated who could replace Majors as Kang. But instead it seems like the studio is pivoting away from that plot altogether, despite the character's status as the Big Bad being teased throughout Ant-Man 3 and two seasons of Loki. This alleged leak comes shortly after Marvel announced the cast of Avengers: Doomsday during a long live stream. Fans are finally getting some idea about what might happen in the movie, although the question of what might have occurred in The Kang Dynasty is still in the air. So this possible draft will likely get a ton of eyes on it, especially considering the inclusion of Spider-Man and Deadpool.
