The 47 year old ex-glamour model, who once boasted a £40 million fortune, has spoken candidly about her financial tribulations, which saw her face a significant tax debt exceeding £750,000 and led to two bankruptcies within a challenging six-year period. Despite clearing her debts last March and looking forward to future triumphs, Katie has faced ongoing issues. Last year, after leaving her 'Mucky Mansion', the mother of five disclosed difficulties with securing a new home, attributing this to estate agents harbouring a "black mark" against her due to her publicised monetary struggles. She recounted instances where agents told her properties had been let to others after she showed interest, only to find they remained available—a situation that leads her to sense unfair treatment as she attempts to rebuild her life. Speaking on her podcast, 'The Katie Price Show', Katie voiced her determination: "I love it how I have gone through all what I have because I will get there again." She expressed frustration: "I just have a problem with when you have been in a bankruptcy, you just can't get anything. It is so annoying because I earn such good money. I earn, like I did back in the day, really good money but it makes no difference if you earn the money." Katie explained: "Once you get that black mark against your name, there's nothing you can do. Even when I go to rent a house, as soon as they know its my name, it is discrimination.", reports the Mirror. "They are like 'Oh no, no' and I am like 'Oh is it because of what you've read?'. Does it really matter, I have got the money and I can pay upfront. It's the name that puts people off and it's such discrimination." Katie was initially declared bankrupt in December 2019 for one year. At the time, her worth was estimated to be £40 million. She then agreed to make monthly payments of £12,000 to her creditors in an attempt to clear her debt. However, this was unsuccessful, and by July 2020, Katie found herself back in court for another bankruptcy hearing. She informed the court she was living in a rental property that cost her £4,200 per month. Then, in March 2024, during a brief hearing held at the Rolls Building, Insolvency and Companies Court in London, Katie was declared bankrupt a second time. During this hearing, it emerged that she owed £761,994.05 to HMRC, and the court found that she had failed to address this debt. Earlier this year, Katie announced her discharge from bankruptcy, expressing her relief: "I'm so happy. I can finally move on and leave these bankruptcies behind me, focusing only on the positive. Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this process."

She said: "That's obviously a massive worry for me, but we'e doing something about it with the doctors," explaining that he is waiting to begin Mounjaro, which is a type of medication to assist weight loss. But Harvey's complex medical needs and existing prescriptions have made it difficult to move forward swiftly. Katie shared her excitement for Harvey's big day as she wrote: "Bank holiday cuddles before lots of celebrations tomorrow." It comes after Katie opened up about the growing health crisis facing her eldest son, revealing that his weight has reached a dangerous tipping point. At 30 stone, the soon-to-be 22-year-old is now at serious risk of a heart attack - a terrifying possibility that has left Katie feeling overwhelmed and deeply concerned for his future. Speaking candidly on The Katie Price Show, her podcast co-hosted with sister Sophie, the mum-of-five didn't hold back about the reality of their situation. She is also mum to son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10, who she shares with former husband Kieran Hayler, 38 - who was the third Mr Price from 2013 until 2021. Throughout his life, Harvey has battled health issues - including a condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, which provokes a constant feeling of hunger. Katie has been trying to help Harvey lose weight as she fears he has reached a danger level of overweight - but has been left saddened by the results of a recent weigh-in. Taking to social media over the weekend, Katie shared that Harvey is now almost 30 stone. Speaking on Snapchat, the OnlyFans content creator said: 'I'm so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up. I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone. It's so life-threatening now, I'm still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.' She continued: 'It's so sad his quality of life at the moment where he's so big, he just can't really do much. It's just another thing I have to deal with because he's at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers or struggles to walk anywhere but I love him and I'm going to help him through this." And she added: 'So sad, obesity and his condition is sad, it's sad to see someone go through it and he doesn't understand.' Earlier this year, Katie revealed that she had turned to weight loss jabs in an effort to help Harvey control his weight. She has reference the drug Mounjaro - which contains an ingredient called tirzepatide which has been known to help suppress appetite. Katie previously told The Sun of Harvey's weight and health issues: 'The good thing about starting him on the drug is, if it has any effect, you can stop it because you do it weekly. 'We've tried food, he's had dietitians, it's just the way he is. And he's on a lot of medication which the drug won't affect. They want to try him on it for at least one or two years, which is a long time, but they'll control what level he needs then up it as they assess it.'

Katie, who has downgraded to a smaller property, and has now cleared her debts, told her followers she 'hates' her old house as she filmed herself outside with her riding gear. Telling her fans she goes riding past the property, while sporting a black hat white 'Don't Doubt Yourself' and high-waisted jodhpurs, she said: "So funnily enough, I am outside the old Mucky Mansion, next door. I absolutely hate the old house." Pointing at large field, she continued: "That was my old field. When I had to give the keys back, they gave me an ultimatum [to repair it]. They gave me two years and I didn't want to spend all that time doing it. £500 to £800 grand I got quoted!" After endless back and forth about her future at the property, the former glamour model confirmed she was leaving the Mucky Mansion, which featured in Katie's Channel 4 makeover series, not long after being served eviction papers last year. Katie purchased the house in Horsham, West Sussex, in October, 2014 for £1.35million. The Mirror reported the OnlyFans star was sent a letter, dated April 24, 2024, stating that 'the eviction will take place on May 29, 2024, at 10am'. The letter also stated that the court had 'issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the property'. A year later and Katie is now free of her financial burdens after admitting the last six years of her life have been "hell". The mum-of-five was declared bankrupt for the second time last year, owing a whopping £750,000, which forced her to downgrade her home and leave the Mucky Mansion. However, the Pricey recently revealed that she has cleared her debts as she opened up about 'learning her lesson' on a recent episode of The Katie Price Show. Speaking to her sister, Sophie, she declared, proudly: "I'm not bankrupt anymore! I'm out of it, I'm out of both of them. "The last six years have been hell - mentally and personally - everything has been hell. I've worked so hard to communicate and get rid of what caused all the trouble and I'm out of it. "It's such a nice feeling not to be bankrupt anymore. I'm in control of everything now." Katie is now moving forward and enjoying spending time with her Married At First Sight star boyfriend, JJ Slater. The reality star, 32, pops in Katie's video outside the Mucky Mansion as he tells her to enjoy her horse ride. Responding, Katie tell her beau to enjoy his run before asking him to "show us those f*****g sexy legs" as JJ, sheepishly obliges.
