It's freezing outside and pubs across the city are slinging Sunday roast specials. Here are five of the best.
Claremont
We can't stand the way good pub food is always described as 'elevated' but we have to admit, every time we dine at this Golden Triangle pub we feel like we've pressed the button to the top floor. Its set Sunday roast is no exception. Tuck into a big plate of roast beef, vegetables and a truly fantastic potato pie for just $32.

Do you love a Yorkie? Do you feel they should be bigger? Like, a lot bigger? Then get yourself down to this Hills pub where on Sundays it serves a giant roast dinner inside a supersized Yorkshire pudding. A big chunk of beef brisket with roast veg and gravy all in a giant Yorkie bowl. For just $30, they are served up from noon until they sell-out, so get in early.
Leederville
This reliable, no frills pub is serving up a traditional roast every Sunday for just $33 (or $18 for a kid-sized portion). There is a choice between two meats, vegetable, cheesy cauliflower, a Yorkshire pudding, gravy and even dessert — sticky date or a danish. With sport on the telly and the bar nearby, this is not a bad way to spend a Sunday.
Bentley
This popular roast is also served in a giant Yorkshire pudding bowl. There's changing meat options each week with roast veg and lot of add-on options including throwing in a pork and Guinness sausage for an extra $9.50. The roast bowl starts at $29. Pack your appetite.

This sophisticated but cosy pub offers diners a choice between porchetta or slow-roasted rump cap with roast veg, gravy and of course, a Yorkshire pudding, for $33. With an excellent wine list on hand, it's the perfect spot to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon with friends eating and drinking.
