Andrea Torres to shoot underwater scenes for 'Akusada'

Andrea Torres is gearing up to shoot underwater scenes for her upcoming series, "Akusada." In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Andrea said that her role as Carol embodies the diligence of Filipinos. Andrea said. Andrea also expressed her enthusiasm in filming underwater scenes for the project. "Wala akong formal training pero hindi naman yata kailangan for this. Pero adventurous naman akong tao. Learning experience siya and gusto ko 'yung gan'yan. 'Yung nababasa ako, napapawisan ako, tumatakbo-takbo ako, type na type ko 'yung mga gan'yan," she said. Andrea will star with Benjamin Alves, who said that the story is beautiful and fast-paced. The series will also star Lianne Valentine as the antagonist. "First day namin together, nasabunutan na po ako. Oo. Talagang nagja-jive kami lahat," Lianne said. "Akusada" marks Andrea's return to GMA Afternoon Prime following "The Millionaire's Wife," where she worked alongside the late actress Jaclyn Jose. She fondly recalled their working dynamics, saying, "Kasi ang dynamics namin sa mga ganitong taping, chine-check niya 'yung mga performances ko." "Akusada" is directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
