Andrea Torres to shoot underwater scenes for 'Akusada'
Andrea Torres is gearing up to shoot underwater scenes for her upcoming series, "Akusada."
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Andrea said that her role as Carol embodies the diligence of Filipinos.
Andrea said.
Andrea also expressed her enthusiasm in filming underwater scenes for the project.
"Wala akong formal training pero hindi naman yata kailangan for this. Pero adventurous naman akong tao. Learning experience siya and gusto ko 'yung gan'yan. 'Yung nababasa ako, napapawisan ako, tumatakbo-takbo ako, type na type ko 'yung mga gan'yan," she said.
Andrea will star with Benjamin Alves, who said that the story is beautiful and fast-paced.
The series will also star Lianne Valentine as the antagonist.
"First day namin together, nasabunutan na po ako. Oo.
Talagang nagja-jive kami lahat," Lianne said.
"Akusada" marks Andrea's return to GMA Afternoon Prime following "The Millionaire's Wife," where she worked alongside the late actress Jaclyn Jose.
She fondly recalled their working dynamics, saying, "Kasi ang dynamics namin sa mga ganitong taping, chine-check niya 'yung mga performances ko."
"Akusada" is directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Ralph De Leon on not picking AZ Martinez as final duo: 'She knows our relationship won't change'
All is well between Ralph De Leon and AZ Martinez, despite not being each other's final duo partners on 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' Ralph was the first housemate to choose his duo after being the first to complete the final duo formation task. AZ stepped forward while Ralph was choosing, but the Kapamilya actor chose Will Ashley as his final duo because 'hindi pa po talaga ako nagka opportunity to become a duo with Will.' Ralph and AZ, who have been duos before and have formed a close bond, already previously discussed Ralph's old promise to Will that they would be each other's final duo. 'I know what working experience we have together as a duo, and I also wanted to explore that with Will,' Ralph said about AZ. While still sad that she wasn't chosen, AZ was happy for Ralph and Will, and congratulated them afterwards with a big hug. Ralph also said that AZ and Will are the closest Kapuso to him and that they were his Top 2 choices. 'I was happy they had the courage to step forward and actually let me know din po na gusto din nila 'ko maka final duo,' he said. The Kapamilya actor said that just because he chose Will, doesn't mean he will abandon AZ. 'She knows na our relationship won't change just because hindi po siya 'yung napili kong final duo.' Ralph added that choosing Will after denying him before happened at the perfect time. The two actors vowed that they are ready to fight until the end. Will said, 'Kami po ni Ralph, game on. Game on na po talaga.' The final duo formation will continue tonight, Saturday, on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," which airs on GMA Network weeknights at 10:05 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
