Oscar Isaac Shares "Moon Knight" Season 2 Update, Teases MCU Movie Appearance

Yara Sameh Oscar Isaac has spoken about whether or not "Moon Knight" season 2 is happening and the future of his Marvel Cinematic Universe hero. It has been more than three years since the Moon Knight ending, as Isaac brought one of Marvel's most complex superheroes into the MCU franchise, while leaving the door open for a hypothetical season 2 at Marvel Studios and Disney+. @MarcsBack recently met Isaac at a convention where they asked the MCU star if "Moon Knight" season 2 is confirmed, sharing how much they would love to see his show continue. However, Isaac unfortunately didn't have great news to share with the fan. He stated that it's "not confirmed," while agreeing with the fellow fan that he also needs Moon Knight season 2 to happen, saying, "I know, you and me both." However, Isaac followed up by instead perhaps looking at an MCU movie as a possible route, saying, 'We'll see. Maybe one day, or in a movie we'll see him [return.]" What does Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight Update Mean? While there are many "Moon Knight" season 2 story options, Isaac's show was made before the restructuring of Marvel Television, which could be a huge factor in why the series hasn't been renewed yet. The company is now focused on greenlighting shows with a more traditional format, meant to last for several seasons, including a focus on quality over quantity in how many TV projects go forward. That is why several MCU TV shows that were in development got paused earlier this year, as Marvel Television is retooling its strategy, while also having Marvel Studios finish The Multiverse Saga with its remaining Phase 6 projects. Isaac's comments about how "Moon Knight" season 2 isn't confirmed yet could very well be related to Marvel Television slowing things down. However, the fact that Isaac mentions the prospects of a Moon Knight return through the movies is quite fascinating, as he has yet to appear in the MCU films at this point. Whether Isaac could be hinting at something for "Moon Knight" in Phase 6 or 7 remains to be seen. While time will tell if Isaac and the rest of the "Moon Knight" cast will get a season 2 pick-up after his latest comments, the idea of bringing his hero into the MCU movies may be the more realistic option at this point. With "Avengers: Secret Wars" set to wrap up The Multiverse Saga, it wouldn't be shocking if Moon Knight somehow gets factored into the larger war against Doctor Doom. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results

Will Agatha All Along's Joe Locke Appear In Avengers: Doomsday?

During a TikTok live, when Sater was asked about Locke's future, he briefly stated that Locke is doing a Marvel movie. Agatha All Along star Joe Locke is potentially eyeing his Marvel Studios debut. After the reintroduction of Billy Maximoff, aka Wiccan (played by Joe Locke), in Agatha All Along, fans have been wondering when the young hero will show up next as The Multiverse Saga gets closer to its end. While fans await to witness Locke as Billy in the MCU, a recent update from Steven Sater has ignited hopes among the audience. During a TikTok live, when Sater was asked about Locke's future, he briefly stated that Locke is doing a Marvel movie, which would mark the actor's debut in a Marvel Studios film. 'I didn't see him; I didn't reach out. I know he's doing a Marvel movie and he's doing Heartstopper, so he's been crazy, and my friends are producing the play he's about to do on the West End, so I just know how crazy his schedule is, so I left him alone," Sater stated. steven sater when asked about seeing joe locke in london:"i didn't see him, i didn't reach out. i know he's doing a marvel movie and he's doing 'heartstopper,' so he's been crazy, and my friends are producing the play he's about to do on the west end, so i just know how crazy… — daily joe locke (@dailyjlocke) July 16, 2025 Although Locke and Marvel Studios have not made any official confirmation yet or responded to Sater's comments, fans are eagerly waiting to witness the Heartstopper star making his MCU film debut. If Sater's comments are to be believed, Locke will be seen in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film, as it is the only MCU film currently shooting in London. Given Avengers: Doomsday marks the beginning of the end of The Multiverse Saga, having Locke's Wiccan show up in the film would make perfect sense. Sater's comments seemed to suggest Locke's MCU film debut is on the horizon, given that Kevin Feige previously confirmed that more members of the Avengers: Doomsday cast were yet to be revealed. Despite getting no official confirmation, fans are eagerly waiting to witness how Billy would fit into the upcoming massive MCU instalment. Avengers: Doomsday is the fifth instalment of the Avengers series, which will feature an ensemble cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, Tom Hiddleston, Ian McKellen, Pedro Pascal and Robert Downey Jr., among others. The film is set to hit the theatres in 2026. view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
