In the summer of 2010, the Chicago Bulls were among those attempting to sign LeBron James. As reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the NBA giant wasn't yet convinced about the team's bid. Now, Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller , Dwyane Wade's previous teammates, hosted The OGs Show and revealed that the player was about to sign a solo deal with the Chicago Bulls. Dwyane Wade reacted as LeBron James bypassed the Chicago Bulls in 2010 In the summer of 2010, the Chicago Bulls were among the clubs seeking to get LeBron James. Adrian Wojnarowski, a respected NBA insider, claimed that the team thought they had a compelling presentation to convince the NBA great. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the team was aware that having D-Rose personally recruit LeBron James would be very beneficial. Additionally, he further pointed out that Derrick Rose had not expressed any interest in joining the icon. Hence, LeBron James was allegedly not interested in the Chicago Bulls' offer. The insider further said: "For everything the Bulls tried to sell – from owner Jerry Reinsdorf to GM Gar Forman to coach Tom Thibodeau – there had been one thing that troubled James about the Bulls pitch: Derrick Rose(notes) never called and tried to recruit him.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Veena Developers: OC Received 3 BHK Homes Veena Solace – Santacruz Learn More Undo LeBron James and Dwyane Wade's Top 25 Plays As Teammates On the other hand, during a recent appearance on The OGs Show, talking about it, Dwyane Wade said: "But man I was like, 'I'm going back home. I'm going to Chicago.' I played seven years here - I won a championship - it's time to go to the next, and for me, that was my mentality going into free agency outside of Miami.' He continued to explain that the Miami Heat were still an option: "Now, of course, Miami was still in there for me, but I got that call, man. I got that call from number six." The NBA icon then said: "It [LeBron James] was my favorite person besides Kobe to compete against. I'm not thinking about playing with him. I love our matchups.' LeBron James is in the L.A. Former Sixers sharpshooter defends Tobias Harris during time in Philly

Tobias Harris suffered a lot of criticism during his time with the Philadelphia 76ers. Acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers at the 2019 deadline before then being re-signed to a 5-year $180 million deal, Harris averaged 17.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 378 games across six seasons in Philadelphia. Harris had to wear a lot of different hats in Philadelphia. His role changed from being a top option with the Clippers to then being the No. 4 option behind Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Jimmy Butler. Then, he had to be the sharpshooter after JJ Redick departed in the 2019 offseason. Then, he had to be the No. 2 scorer. Then, he had to be the No. 3 scorer and adjust after James Harden arrived. Harris was asked to do a lot and he did it without complaining. Yet, he received a lot of criticism for coming up small in the playoffs at times. He had some tough moments in the postseason for sure, but overall, Harris was such a key piece to what the Sixers wanted to do and they don't have the success they do without him. His presence was important as ever. Former Sixers sharpshooter Georges Niang hopped on "The OGs Show" and defended Harris from the critics in Philly and credited him for helping the Detroit Pistons make a surprise run to the playoffs in 2025: One of my favorite teammates in Philly had to have been Tobias Harris. I think he took a lot of heat in Philadelphia. Whatever they want to say I think as an overall veteran leader. You talk about sacrificing when James came in, Tyrese (Maxey), Joel, he'd find out a way to make himself effective. He had to continue to connect guys, bring guys together, bring energy, bring life into a youthful organization over there in Detroit. I couldn't say enough great things about that guy. Whatever the opinion one wants to have about Harris with the Sixers, it's obvious that his teammates remember him fondly. He is a professional who just wants to win and be a great teammate and he was just that in Philadelphia while also doing the same thing with the Pistons in his return to Detroit in 2024-25.

Former 4x NBA All-Star Reflects on His Time With the Magic

During the early years of the Orlando Magic, the franchise struck gold when it formed a dynamic duo. They had back-to-back lottery picks in the early 1990s and drafted center Shaquille O'Neal and guard Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway. With the two stars, the Magic became instant contenders. In Hardaway's rookie season, the Magic made its first playoff appearance. The team was led by O'Neal, who finished fourth in MVP voting in his sophomore year. In the 1994-95 campaign, Orlando surprised everyone when they made it to the NBA Finals. Advertisement Although the Magic was eventually swept by the Houston Rockets, the young team showed promise. Unfortunately for Orlando, O'Neal opted to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996 and left his co-star. In the recent episode of "The OGs Show," the former four-time All-Star had a moment of reflection about his time with Shaq. 'We had to be one of the teams that had the best roster that didn't win a championship, honestly,' Hardaway said. 'That team was special. The early years was just like rock stars.' Advertisement 'That was a crew, man. They put that team together. It was unfortunate that we didn't stay together. The big fella got wooed by the Lakers.' In the end, the current Memphis Tigers head coach said he understood why O'Neal couldn't reject the glitz and glamour of L.A. The former LSU standout went on to win three straight titles with the late Kobe Bryant as a member of the Lakers. Hardaway, though, stayed in Orlando until 1999. Injuries derailed his career as he played for the Phoenix Suns and the New York Knicks before retiring in 2006. In the 2007-08 season, the 6-foot-7 guard came out of retirement and joined the Miami Heat to reunite with Shaq. Related: Magic Star Paolo Banchero Sends Clear Message on Future

Former Vikings QB jokes about lone Pro Bowl selection

Teddy Bridgewater wasn't known for prolific stats in his two seasons as quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings. He only threw for 6,150 yards and 28 touchdown passes in 29 games from 2014-15 before a catastrophic knee injury weeks before the 2016 season derailed his career. Although his stats weren't great, Bridgewater did receive a Pro Bowl nod in 2015 despite only throwing 14 touchdown passes and 3,231 yards. He helped lead the Vikings to an 11-5 record and NFC North title before the infamous Blair Walsh game, in which the kicker missed a 27-yard chip shot that would have likely beaten the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round. Still, it sounds like even Bridgewater knows that may not have been the most bonafide Pro Bowl campaign of all-time. Adrian Peterson led the league with 1,485 yards and 11 touchdowns, making the quarterback's job easy. 'I tell people all the time, I joke about it, but I'm like, 'Man, I made the Pro Bowl for having the best handoff in the league,'' Bridgewater told the 'The OGs Show' recently. Although Bridgewater never started again in Minnesota following his knee injury, leaving after the 2017 season, he did bounce around the league as a capable backup and locker-room presence. The 11-year veteran came out of retirement in 2024 to play with the Detroit Lions at the end of the season. It seems that Bridgewater is very aware of his career. That humility is part of what endeared him to the fanbase and team, even if he didn't have record-breaking stats.
