Chris Hughes' former co-star and close friend has had his say on the former Love Island star's friendship with JoJo Siwa claiming he's 'addicted to connection' Chris Hughes ' close friend and former co-star Jake Quickenden has shared his opinion on the former Love Island star's close friendship with JoJo Siwa as he appeared in the audience of tonight's Late and Live. JoJo, 21, and Chris, 32, have shared an extremely close friendship in the house, with some suspecting it may be something more. The two have been seen giving each other massages and sharing cuddles in bed, but Jake has revealed that his friend is just "addicted to connection". Jake and Chris first met on ITV's Lorraine and became close when they did The Real Full Monty together in 2020. The pair have been close ever since, with Jake even admitting Chris makes him sleep in his bed when he stays over. Speaking to host AJ Odudu, former X-Factor star Jake said: "He is addicted to connection. I did a show with him, he latched onto me and I couldn't get rid of him. Still can't get rid of him," he laughed. "It was the same in Love Island with Kem," Jake continued. "He finds his person and they're his safety blanket. Speaking on JoJo and Chris sharing cuddles in bed together, Jake said: "Even when I stop over at his house he won't let me sleep in the spare room, he makes me sleep in bed with him. "He wants to have a chat and he wants to wake up and bring you a cup of tea. That's just Chris." AJ then asked Jake if he'd received a back tickle from Chris in bed like JoJo has, as father of two Jake laughed: "I mean I shut it down. I shut it down straight away! But he is really touchy feely." In tonight's episode, JoJo and Chris were seen taking their friendship even further as Chris was seen wearing JoJo's bikini bottoms on his head while he slept. Although the duo found it amusing, fans weren't as impressed. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: Chris has Jojos bikini bottoms on his head.. don't tell me something isnt off.. this isn't a friendship nor normal. #CelebrityBigBrother". Another said: "Chris having JoJo's bikini on his face [sick emoji]". .
