The event will support armed forces charity SSAFA. SSAFA said in a statement: "A full programme of unforgettable entertainment will ensure your evening goes off with a bang. "You will enjoy daring cavalry performances, hair-raising parachute displays and hear the unmistakable rumble of the Spitfire as it flies overhead and if that's not enough, this perfect summer evening will conclude with a ground shaking firework and cannon display as the orchestra perform Beethoven's 'Battle Symphony'. "Whether you're planning a romantic evening as a couple, a group celebration, or want to enjoy a fun filled day out as a family, this could be the unique experience you've been looking for." Assistance dogs are the only dogs that are permitted at the event. Blenheim Palace annual pass holders are entitled to a 10 per cent discount on standard advance adult and child tickets.

Al Ahly Exits CAF Champions League After Draw With Mamelodi

Cairo – SABA: Egyptian club Al Ahly failed to continue its title defense in the CAF Champions League after a 1-1 draw against South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns in a match held on Friday. Egyptian striker Taher Mohamed Taher gave the hosts—nicknamed "The Red Devils"—an early lead in the 24th minute of the first half. However, the South African side managed to equalize dramatically in the dying seconds, benefiting from an own goal scored by Al Ahly defender Yasser Ibrahim in the final minute of regular time at Cairo International Stadium. Thanks to the away goals rule, Mamelodi Sundowns secured a spot in the CAF Champions League semifinals, having played to a goalless draw in the first leg in South Africa. Mamelodi Sundowns will now await the winner of the other quarterfinal matchup between fellow Egyptian side Pyramids and South Africa's Orlando Pirates, currently underway.
