Lana Del Rey reveals she kissed huge US singer in new song as she announces big career change

Pop star Lana Del Rey has revealed some eyebrow raising lyrics from her new album as she admitted to kissing a huge singer while revealing her highly anticipated career change Lana Del Rey has taken a surprise career change as she sang one of her songs for the very last time. The singer, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated album. Her forthcoming album The Right Person Will Stay, follows on from Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. The new album is currently scheduled for release next month and will see Lana take a huge turn in her career. She has decided to release a country album in contrast to her previous tracks that have often been labelled as indie pop and alternative, with strong influences from dream pop, baroque pop, and rock. ‌ ‌ Lana, who is heading on a UK tour later this year, gave a taste of what to expect while performing at Stagecoach Festival in California this weekend. She performed her new song Husband of Mine as well as 57.5 Million. The latter track references the number of listeners she has on Spotify and before performing the song she asked fans to listen closely to the lyrics. She surprisingly sang about kissing country star Morgan Wallen in the track before revealing it would be the last time she'd ever sing it. Lana, who married alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in September last year, said on stage: 'I kissed Morgan Wallen. I guess kissing me kind of went to his head. If you want my secret to success, I suggest don't go ATV-ing with him when you're out West.' Before debuting the lyric, she quipped: "This is the last time I'm ever gonna say this line." Lana revealed her 10th studio album back in November, hinting at new tunes on Instagram. She wrote at the time: "Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach." She had hinted at the country vibe of her upcoming album, initially set to be named Lasso, earlier this year. Speaking at a Billboard pre-Grammy event, Lana shared insights into the album's direction as she said: "If you can't already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country... ‌ "We're going country. It's happening. That's why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years." In a Vogue interview last summer, she further defined her album's concept, commenting: "All my albums are somewhat rooted in Americana... so I don't think it will be a heavy departure." She added: "If anything, it will just be a little lighter lyrically, and more pointed in a classic country, American, or Southern Gothic production - which again, so many of my songs already are."

Lana Del Rey Drops Second Single off New Album "Bluebird": Stream It Now

Yara Sameh Lana Del Rey has gifted fans a fresh taste of her new era, with 'Bluebird' arriving as the latest preview of her forthcoming album. Dropping just a week after ' Henry, Come On ' gave fans their first insight into what to expect from Del Rey's self-described 'country' record, 'Bluebird' has further confirmed that her sonic shift won't be one steeped in the standard trappings of a country record. Like its predecessor, 'Bluebird' is another soaring piece of emotional introspection from Del Rey, as she pairs softly-plucked acoustic guitars with stirring strings and her trademark reverb-laden vocals. Written alongside Luke Laird, and featuring production from Drew Erickson, it's a dream team of country and folk at play and provides further indication that Del Rey's upcoming record is set to be another high point of her career. Currently, it's unclear just when the untitled album will arrive. The EP was initially teased to arrive under the name "Lasso" in early 2024 and given a September release date. The 13-track record was later given a fresh moniker by way of "The Right Person Will Stay" and an updated release date of May 10. Following the release of 'Henry, Come On,' Del Rey has since told fans her forthcoming 10th album is once again subject to a mystery. 'You know it's not going to come on time, right?' she explained on April 11. 'Should I even tell you that the name changed again? Should I tell you that now, while you're so happy that you even have a song? Yeah, maybe I'll wait.' A late album is nothing new for the beloved singer, as her three most recent projects — "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd", "Chemtrails Over the Country Club" and "Blue Banisters" — were all delayed for various reasons. Del Rey is currently scheduled to perform at Stagecoach on April 25, with a series of dates slated to follow across the U.K. throughout June and July. She'll return to the U.S. in the summer for a performance at Iowa's Hinterland Music Festival on August 3. Lana Del Rey's New Album Is Getting New Title, Release Date

Yara Sameh Lana Del Rey has some good and bad news to share with her fans. The superstar took to Instagram on Friday (April 11) to thank fans for their support and her collaborators for their work on her freshly released single, 'Henry, Come On.' The country-tinged ballad is set to appear on Del Rey's upcoming 10th album, "The Right Person Will Stay". However, at the end of her video, the singer revealed that the project isn't going to arrive on the scheduled May 21 release date — and she changed the title. 'You know it's not going to come on time, right?' she said in her video. 'Should I even tell you that the name changed again? Should I tell you that now, while you're so happy that you even have a song? Yeah, maybe I'll wait.' She didn't give an update on the project's release date, and as of press time, hasn't announced the new title. However, she did give some good news. Her next single, 'Blue Bird,' will be arriving for sure next Friday (April 18). A late album is nothing new for the beloved singer, as her three most recent projects — "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd", "Chemtrails Over the Country Club", and "Blue Banisters" — were all delayed for various reasons. Del Rey is scheduled to perform at Stagecoach on April 25. 'It's not lost on me about how amazing it is that we got to headline Coachella last year and that we get to sing at the top of the night at Stagecoach on the smaller stage this year. My band is so excited. I'm really excited, and I'm really happy for this album to be moving along,' she shared in her Instagram video. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 .. Lana Del Rey pushes back album release, reveals title has changed

Lana Del Rey, who first announced her album The Right Person Will Stay last November, has revealed that the project will be delayed — and it will arrive with a brand new title. However, Del Rey seemingly deleted her announcement just a few hours after posting it. The Summertime Sadness hitmaker shared a reel on Instagram where she updated fans about the change. The Cinnamon Girl singer admitted the album was originally titled Lasso. "I'm really happy for this album to be moving along," she said. "I do have a lot more to say [about] that I mean, you do know it's not going to come on time right?" "Like should I even tell you that the name changed again?" she added with a smile. "Should I tell you that now, while you're so happy you even have a song? Yeah, maybe I'll wait." The upcoming record was highly anticipated by fans, but the last-minute changes and delays have not gone down well with everyone. Some expressed their frustration online. One user commented, "LMFAOO there she goes again 😭." Another joked, "Rihanna 2.0 guys, it's never coming." Oops — hopefully not! Despite the mixed reactions, excitement for Lana's next chapter remains strong. Whenever it finally drops, fans are still eagerly looking forward to new music from the iconic artist. In the meantime, Lana is set to perform at the Stagecoach Film Festival in California later this month. She will also embark on her first stadium tours in the UK and Ireland this year, visiting major cities like London, Cardiff, Dublin, Liverpool, and Glasgow.
