TVO's 'The Agenda with Steve Paikin' to end after 19 seasons
"The Agenda with Steve Paikin" is coming to an end after 19 seasons. TVO says this season of its flagship current affairs program will be the last as the veteran host enters a new phase of his career with the public broadcaster. Paikin will stay with TVO as co-host of the weekly political podcast #onpoli, and he will continue to write a column on the broadcaster's website. TVO also says he'll host public engagements. Replacing "The Agenda"'s timeslot will be "The Rundown," a new show that TVO says will feature "original journalism and in-depth analysis exploring social, political, cultural and economic issues that impact Ontarians." It launches this fall. In a column published Tuesday, Paikin said he and TVO's vice-president of programming John Ferri agreed in contract talks three years ago that it would be his last full-time deal with the Ontario station. Paikin said hosting is a job that requires working every day of the week, and he realized he wanted to tackle other items on his life's to-do list. The final episode of "The Agenda" will air June 27. 'I am grateful to everyone who worked on or was a part of 'The Agenda' for the last 19 seasons," Paikin said in a statement. "It has truly been an honour and I'm looking forward to what's coming next.' This report by The Canadian Press was first published April 22, 2025. Alex Nino Gheciu, The Canadian Press

Zendaya Will Attend Met Gala 2025 But With a Noticeable Change
is gearing up to walk down the Met Gala's steps again this year but with a noticeable change. The actor-singer made her big return to the glamorous fashion event in 2024 after skipping it for four years. While the anticipation is already soaring for what Zendaya will bring to the biggest night this time, her longtime stylist, Law Roach, recently confirmed a significant change for 2025. Zendaya is sure to bring her fashion A-game yet again for one of the most glamorous nights of the year — the Met Gala 2025. However, her long-running tradition of attending the prestigious event with Law Roach will take the backseat this year. Zendaya's longtime stylist recently spilled the beans while attending the Fashion Trust Awards in Los Angeles on April 8. During an interview with E! News' The Rundown's Erin Lim Rhodes, Roach confirmed that he and Zendaya 'are going to be on the Met Gala steps.' But he also revealed that the two will go 'separately this year.' The star duo, who have worked together since the early days of Zendaya's acting career, have continued to receive much love from fans. Therefore, the change is quite a significant one. Nonetheless, Roach added, 'That's going to be really amazing.' The celebrity stylist further explained that he and Zendaya are doing their 'own thing this year,' which he believes will be 'exciting.' The 'Dune' actor made her Met Gala debut in 2015 and has continued to own star-studded events with her impeccable style. During last year's fundraiser for The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, Zendaya served not one but two show-stealing looks while walking the steps. Later, she slipped into another glittery gown while taking the stage during the ceremony as one of the co-chairs. Now, the wait has already begun for the Met Gala 2025, which will take place on May 5. Vogue noted that this year's theme is 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.' The celebrities are expected to bring forth their 'creative interpretation' of menswear-inspired looks for the 'Tailored for You' dress code. Cardi B responds to Kulture drawing on $60K Birkin and talks Revolve Fest fashion
Cardi B shared her reaction to a now-viral parenting moment during her appearance at Revolve Festival 2025, revealing she 'couldn't even be mad' when her daughter Kulture doodled on her $60,000 Hermès Birkin bag. Speaking exclusively to The Rundown's Erin Lim Rhodes on April 12, Cardi explained that her response stemmed from wanting to test Kulture's honesty. 'I was like, 'Kulture, did you doodle on mommy's purse?' And she's like, 'Yeah! Did you like it?'' the rapper recalled with a laugh. Despite the high price tag, Cardi was more amused than upset by her daughter's answer. Although she cherishes her luxury handbags, the Grammy winner—who also shares two other children with estranged husband Offset—admitted she's rethinking the idea of passing them down. 'Sometimes I be like, 'Yeah, I want to pass this down,' but I might just wear it when I'm an old b--ch,' she joked. Outside of motherhood, Cardi is expanding her business empire. She recently launched a fashion and beauty brand in partnership with Revolve Group, reflecting her signature style and passion for practical fashion. Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, she emphasized the importance of accurate sizing, noting, 'If it's a size small, it should be a true size small.' As she balances music, parenting, and entrepreneurship, Cardi acknowledged the pressure of celebrity ventures in beauty and lifestyle. 'We have to come in strong,' she said.

Drake Bell gives update on Drake and Josh reboot after reunion with Josh Peck
Drake Bell has opened up about the potential for a Drake & Josh reboot, following his recent reunion with former co-star Josh Peck. The actor discussed the idea during an interview with E! The Rundown, where he confirmed that there have been ongoing conversations about revisiting the beloved Nickelodeon sitcom. 'We would love to do something,' Bell said, adding that the idea has come up several times over the years, especially during the wave of television reboots. A clip from the interview was posted on TikTok by E! News. Bell explained that if a reboot were to happen, he envisions it beginning with his character approaching Josh's, proposing the idea of restarting their past dynamic—only to be met with resistance. He believes the concept could be a light-hearted way to reflect their real-life history. His comments come shortly after he and Peck reunited publicly on the Good Guys podcast, where the two had an emotional conversation for the first time since the show ended in 2007. During the episode, they discussed the reasons behind their years-long estrangement, including personal struggles and a widely publicized falling-out after Bell wasn't invited to Peck's 2017 wedding. Drake & Josh, which originally aired from 2004 to 2007, remains one of Nickelodeon's most iconic series. While nothing is official yet, Bell's openness—and his reconnection with Peck—has fans buzzing about the possibility of the show's comeback.
