Called The Scream Club, this unique group gathers by Lake Michigan, where members come together to simply scream out their frustrations in a communal, judgment-free space. A video of this viral activity has been making the rounds on multiple social media platforms, including the official handle of The Scream Club. In the clip, a large crowd is seen gathered by Lake Michigan, waiting in silence. Then, a person at the back gives a cue, announcing that everyone will scream together on the count of three. As soon as the countdown ends, the entire group erupts into a powerful, unified scream. Scream Club Rules As per the rules of the club, the group meets at 7 p.m. each Sunday and walks to the pier to scream at 7:15 p.m. Before screaming, they write down what they want to let go on eco-friendly paper and throw it into the water. Scream Club: A Need Of The Hour The initiative has received a lot of appreciation from around the world. A person asked in the comments section, 'Hey guys when is the next scream sesh?" while another said, 'I can see this being a movement." A Chicago resident jokingly said, 'Just when I thought I knew about every club in Chicago, the algorithm sent me this." Another online user mentioned, 'I watched this with no volume first and was very confused." Many also hilariously pointed out how it was a must in present times. A person wrote, 'When you're miserable living under democratic policies." Another one said, 'I'm ready to bring this to the office." Who Founded This Unique Club This unique club was founded by Manny Hernandez, a men's coach and breathwork practitioner, and Elena Soboleva, a personal branding professional. Elena Soboleva told NBC Chicago, 'It just began like a little ritual for us, and in the span of a couple of weeks it's just expanded, and it's so amazing to see how many people really come to us and tell us this is something we need." The motto is to offer a safe space for people to let out their frustrations in a safe space.
