With the most innocent expression, Bo-gum said: 'We exchanged numbers, and I sent him a message… but he never replied.' Lee was caught off guard. He scrambled to explain himself, but the audience was already playfully booing him. The video has since gone viral on Naver and X.
In the show, Lee's character Young Beom, plays the love interest of IU's character, Yang Geum Myung, when she enrols in Seoul National University. In a recent interview with Harper's BAZAAR Korea, An revealed, she 'worked at a rice cake factory, a cookie factory, an electronics factory, a research facility under a major company, in card terminal manufacturing, door lock production, and assembling PVC/electronic outlets,' until recently she was 'part of a CCTV quality control team.' According to her, post Tangerines, her agency situation was in flux, and there was no clear direction. So what did she do? Chae debuted in 2021 and had earlier appeared in projects like The Witch: Part 2, Moonshine, and Pale Moon.
Park Hae Joon reveals how his 'green flag' role changed him
Park Hae Joon, who played the older version of Park Bo Gum's character Gwan Sik in the show, revealed in an interview with The Korea Times how playing a character like Gwan Sik, who was a 'walking green forest,' changed him in real life. It made him take a hard look at his own personality. Comparing this role to his previous one, where he played an adulterer in The World of the Married, he shared, 'Gwan Sik made me reflect on my own life. I even questioned whether I deserved to play such a good man.' Park mentioned that after filming, he'd go home, look at his wife, and feel a renewed desire to be better.
