Sofyank happy to meet childhood hero Jackie Chan
8 Aug - Digital creator Sofyank recently expressed elation after getting a chance to meet action superstar and movie icon Jackie Chan.
Sofyank, real name Muhammad Sofian, recently shared a photo of him and the Hong Kong star on Instagram, saying that he was originally scheduled to shoot a VFX video with Jackie to promote the new movie, "The Shadow's Edge" while they were in Beijing, but that they didn't manage to do that due to the time constraint.
"But it's okay. The memory of meeting face-to-face with a world legend who coloured our childhood TV screens is more than enough for us. This meeting has reignited our spirit to keep creating content, and we'll continue trying to brighten and entertain your days with the content we produce," he expressed.
He then added, "God willing, if given the chance one day, we hope to create content for the big screen too."
However, despite not being able to shoot with Jackie, Sofyank revealed that he just completed shooting a VFX video with Seventeen's Jun, who also stars in the same movie as Jackie.
"Before the shoot I was worried that Jun would get confused because he had to imagine things that didn't exist before his eyes, but as soon as the camera rolled, Jun gave me so much energy for this video," he posted.
