Interrupting their show, Draiman invited his partner, now-fiancée, Sarah Uli, onto the stage and introduced her to the crowd. 'Everybody, say hello to my lovely lady Sarah,' he said to cheers. 'She's looking at me and she's wondering, 'What the f**k is he doing?' 'Sarah, my love. You have made my life so much better. You are the light in the darkness for me. 'I love you more than anything I have ever loved in this world, and it would be the absolute pinnacle of my life and my existence…' He then got down on one knee and said: 'Sarah Uli, will you marry me?' David Draiman Surprises Girlfriend with Onstage Marriage Proposal at Disturbed Show: Watch
The post David Draiman Surprises Girlfriend with Onstage Marriage Proposal at Disturbed Show: Watch appeared first on Consequence. Disturbed frontman David Draiman had a big surprise for his girlfriend Sarah Uli during the band's concert at Golden 1 Center on Friday (May 9th) in Sacramento, California. The singer called Uli onstage, and proceeded to propose to her, to which she said, 'Yes.' At a quiet point in the set, after the band had played their famous cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence,' the heartwarming moment happened when Draiman took the stage by himself and asked Uli to come up from where she was standing in the front of the audience. Get Disturbed Tickets Here As he pulled her in close to him, he said, 'Everyone say hello to my lovely lady Sarah. She's looking at me and she's wondering, 'What the fuck is he doing?' Sarah, my love. You have made my life so much better. You are the light in the darkness for me. I love you more than anything I have ever loved in this world.' Draiman then started to reach into his pocket and grab a ring and kneel down on one knee, continuing, 'And it would be the absolute pinnacle of my life and my existence… Sarah Uli, will you marry me?' Uli then responded affirmatively, and the two shared a long kiss, with Draiman, adding, 'In case you didn't hear, she said yes.' With Uli shedding tears of joy, the two embraced once more, before she left the stage, and Draiman's bandmates returned to play two more tunes to close out the 19-song set. Draiman had previously been married to Lena Yada, with whom he shares a son named Samuel Bear. The two divorced in 2023 after 11 years of marriage. Following that divorce, the Disturbed singer went through a dark time, even telling the audience at a May 2023 concert that he had recently battled suicidal thoughts. It also later came to light that Draiman was dealing with a mold issue at his Florida rental house at the time that led to debilitating health issues. Thankfully, things are looking much brighter for David Draiman these days. Our congratulations go out to him and Sarah Uli on their engagement. Watch it all go down in the Instagram post below. Disturbed's Debut Album Is Bigger Than Ever On Several Charts
Disturbed's The Sickness reappears on six Billboard charts, setting new career peaks 25 years after ... More its original release. More than two decades since its release, the band's breakthrough album is still a favorite among a huge number of people, and, occasionally, one of a handful of hard rock titles that can be found on the Billboard charts again. While it's not unusual for catalog titles to see periodic resurgences, this time around, The Sickness isn't just returning, it's hitting new peaks – something that's not commonly seen for projects that have celebrated a twenty-fifth birthday. The legendary hard rock album is back, and it's currently spread out across six different Billboard rankings in the U.S. this week. It's brand new to three of them, and it reappears on another three. Most impressively, The Sickness reaches a new all-time high on nearly every list where it returns. On the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, the collection rises to No. 8, its best placement ever. Over on the Top Album Sales list, it soars to No. 12, marking another career-best for the title. Of the two charts where The Sickness rises higher than ever this week, its tenure on the Top Album Sales list is significantly longer than on the other list. The album has now spent an impressive 106 weeks on that tally. Its history on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart is comparatively brief. The collection has only made three appearances on that ranking in the past, making this week's return even more notable. The Billboard 200 welcomes The Sickness back once again, but this time, it lands far beneath its personal best. The set re-enters the all-genre ranking at No. 151, well below its peak No. 29. In addition to its reappearance on multiple rankings, The Sickness debuts on three Billboard charts. The highest placement among those where it counts as a new arrival comes on the Vinyl Albums list, where it opens at No. 12. The set also scores a solid entrance on the Top Alternative Albums ranking, starting at No. 19. It similarly finds a home on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums tally, coming in at No. 32. Disturbed recently re-released The Sickness once again, adding another version to the album's long list of editions. The latest iteration celebrates the album's twenty-fifth anniversary with additional tracks from that era, and fans have clearly embraced the updated package. In the past tracking week alone, The Sickness sold 6,200 copies across the U.S., according to Luminate. That sum is enough to help it beat many more contemporary titles, which is not a given for a quarter-century-old effort.

Disturbed's David Draiman Sues Former Landlord over Mold That Led to Health Issues
The post Disturbed's David Draiman Sues Former Landlord over Mold That Led to Health Issues appeared first on Consequence. David Draiman is suing his former landlord, alleging that mold in a rental home in Coral Gables, Florida caused the Disturbed frontman to suffer health issues that have impacted his singing career. The rock vocalist filed the lawsuit on March 11th, according to LAW360, accusing landlord Andy Balgobin of misrepresenting the building and not returning a $37,000 security deposit after he moved out. Get Disturbed Tickets Here Draiman's lawsuit states that the metal singer had been paying $18,500 a month for the 5,200 square foot home upon discovering that the house had mold and leaks that weren't previously disclosed to him. He is accusing Balgobin of fraudulent misrepresentation, fraud, unjust enrichment, and negligence. The lawsuit notes that the health issues that Draiman has suffered as a result of the mold in the home 'impacts his ability to sing as he is lead singer of a prominent rock band with tour dates and recording time,' adding, 'The uninhabitability and mold concerns, among others, resulted in impacts to plaintiff's singing career, recording and studio time with medical concerns.' During a Disturbed concert in Spring 2023, Draiman revealed to the audience that he had experienced suicidal thoughts a couple months earlier, although it is unclear whether that is related to the new lawsuit. The singer addressed that dark period in his life in the recent Disturbed single 'I Will Not Break.' The legal action comes in the midst of Disturbed's North American tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their multiplatinum debut album The Sickness (pick up tickets here). The outing is scheduled run through a May 17 show in Las Vegas, and includes a show this Friday (March 21st) at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Recently, a pyro display at the band's hometown show at Chicago's United Center caused damage to the Chicago Bulls' six championship banners from the 1990s.
