Disturbed frontman David Draiman had a big surprise for his girlfriend Sarah Uli during the band's concert at Golden 1 Center on Friday (May 9th) in Sacramento, California. The singer called Uli onstage, and proceeded to propose to her, to which she said, 'Yes.'
At a quiet point in the set, after the band had played their famous cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence,' the heartwarming moment happened when Draiman took the stage by himself and asked Uli to come up from where she was standing in the front of the audience.

As he pulled her in close to him, he said, 'Everyone say hello to my lovely lady Sarah. She's looking at me and she's wondering, 'What the fuck is he doing?' Sarah, my love. You have made my life so much better. You are the light in the darkness for me. I love you more than anything I have ever loved in this world.'
Draiman then started to reach into his pocket and grab a ring and kneel down on one knee, continuing, 'And it would be the absolute pinnacle of my life and my existence… Sarah Uli, will you marry me?'
Uli then responded affirmatively, and the two shared a long kiss, with Draiman, adding, 'In case you didn't hear, she said yes.' With Uli shedding tears of joy, the two embraced once more, before she left the stage, and Draiman's bandmates returned to play two more tunes to close out the 19-song set.
Draiman had previously been married to Lena Yada, with whom he shares a son named Samuel Bear. The two divorced in 2023 after 11 years of marriage.
Following that divorce, the Disturbed singer went through a dark time, even telling the audience at a May 2023 concert that he had recently battled suicidal thoughts. It also later came to light that Draiman was dealing with a mold issue at his Florida rental house at the time that led to debilitating health issues.
Thankfully, things are looking much brighter for David Draiman these days. Our congratulations go out to him and Sarah Uli on their engagement. Watch it all go down in the Instagram post below.
Disturbed have a few more dates left on their North American tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their multiplatinum debut album, The Sickness. Tickets to the remaining shows are available here.

Ilona Maher wants America to fall in love with rugby during Women's World Cup

SUNDERLAND, England (AP) — Ilona Maher's mission at the Women's Rugby World Cup is about more than just winning games. Heading into the United States' tournament opener on Friday, the world's most followed rugby player on social media wants to get more eyeballs on the sport as it ramps up attempts to crack the market in America. 'Not many people know that there's a Women's Rugby World Cup going on, so we try to get as many people as we can to spread that knowledge,' Maher said ahead of the match against host England in the World Cup curtain-raiser in Sunderland. 'We want the fans in America to see us play here because we've got a World Cup there in eight years and we need to start building for that.' Rugby authorities see America as a vital new market for the sport. The United States will stage the men's Rugby World Cup in 2031 and the women's tournament in 2033. The presence of Maher is key to attracting attention on rugby in the U.S., given she has 5.2 million followers on Instagram and 3.6 million on TikTok — platforms on which she promotes body positivity. The 29-year-old Vermont native believes she and her teammates are 'changing the game on and off the field a lot.' 'This is a time where women's rugby is in a state where it could grow massively,' she said, 'and I do believe this team is at the forefront with how we present ourselves and people's perception of us.' Maher certainly stands out, having been named as the best breakthrough athlete at the ESPYs last month. In an interview with the BBC ahead of the World Cup, she said she has been approached by the WWE — joking that her ring name would be 'Maher-vellous' if she ever became a wrestler — and that she'd love to get into acting. First, though, she wants to deliver at the World Cup, starting with the match in front of 40,000 spectators against England, the tournament favorite, in the north of the country. A star in rugby sevens, in which she won a bronze medal with the U.S. team at the Paris Olympics last year, Maher also had a three-month stint at English club Bristol in the 15 players-a-team format at the start of 2025. 'I think it's so cool,' Maher said, 'that we're up here, so far away from maybe where rugby union is big, and yet we're getting 40,000 people out to a game.'

Former ‘Home Improvement' star Patricia Richardson looks unrecognizable ahead of reunion with castmates

A former sitcom star might have fans doing a double-take when she reunites with her ex-castmates on the small screen this fall. 'Home Improvement' actress Patricia Richardson looks nearly unrecognizable since she portrayed Jill Taylor on the popular ABC sitcom starring Tim Allen throughout most of the '90s. The 74-year-old no longer has a chestnut brown bob, like the one she flaunted during the seven-time Emmy Award-winning show that followed the work and family life of Tim 'The Tool Man' Taylor. Richardson now rocks a head of shock white hair, which she started growing out during the COVID-19 pandemic. 'Ok here we have covid hair grow out,' she captioned in an Instagram post showing the stark difference between her dyed hair and white roots in Oct. 2020. 'Just don't want to cut it! So…. new covid fashion raccoon hair?' Fans flooded her comment section, cheering on her 'beautiful' and natural style which she seemingly kept over recent years. Richardson flaunted her white hair during a 2021 episode of 'NCIS' and also showed off her mane on the red carpet for the premiere of 'Chantilly Bridge' in March 2023 and during a SAG-AFTRA event in Los Angeles in December 2023. Richardson will soon reunite with her former 'Home Improvement' husband and some of her former co-stars during the Season 2 premiere of Allen's current ABC show, 'Shifting Gears,' according to a report by Deadline. 'Worlds are colliding,' the show confirmed on its official Instagram page. 'See Shifting Gears x Home Improvement on the October 1 season premiere!' The reunion comes over 25 years after 'Home Improvement' ended in 1999. Richard Karn, known for playing Al Borland in 'Home Improvement,' and Debbe Dunning, who portrayed 'Tool Time Girl' Heidi Keppert in the '90s show, will appear alongside Richardson in Allen's show about a widowed owner of a car restoration shop, the outlet reported. It's not been revealed which fictional roles the trio of guest stars will play in the upcoming premiere but the cast is supposed to help Allen's fictional character, Matt Parker, in an 'unexpected way,' per Deadline. The Season 2 premiere of 'Shifting Gears' won't be the first time Richardson has reunited with Allen, 72, on television. The four-time Emmy Award-nominee appeared as Helen Potts, an inconsiderate neighbor, in two episodes of his 'Last Man Standing' series in 2015 and 2016. Richardson has maintained her career since 'Home Improvement' ended. She portrayed Dr. Andy Campbell in dozens of episodes of 'Strong Medicine,' political strategist Sheila Brooks in 'The West Wing' and had a series of guest star roles on shows like 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'NCIS' and 'The Blacklist.' By News Desk Published on August 21, 2025, 15:16 IST Last updated August 21, 2025, 15:18 IST The Great Indian Kapil Show is once again making headlines, but this time not because of Kapil Sharma himself. Instead, a video of comedians Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda engaged in a heated argument on the sets of the show has gone viral on social media, leaving fans shocked. In the viral video, both actors can be seen exchanging sharp words during what appears to be a disagreement over shooting schedules. At one point, Kiku Sharda is heard saying, 'Am I just doing timepass here?' (translated) to which Krushna Abhishek, visibly upset, replies, 'Alright then, you do it. I have no problem.' (translated) He even folds his hands and adds sarcastically, 'Brother, I don't mind at all, you carry on. I am leaving.' (translated) As the argument continues, people on the set are seen trying to calm Krushna down. Kiku then says, 'That's not the point. If I was called, let me finish first.' (translated) Krushna responds by saying, 'Brother, I love you. I respect you. I don't want to raise my voice.' (translated) Kiku, however, insists, 'It's not about raising your voice, you are taking it in a different way.' (translated) View this post on Instagram A post shared by RVCJ Movies (@rvcjmovies) The video has sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans debating whether the confrontation was real or just a prank. Both comedians are regular performers on The Great Indian Kapil Show, and their chemistry on stage has long been a highlight for viewers. Fans admire the duo for their impeccable comic timing and hilarious acts, which often leave audiences in splits. This latest clash has therefore left many wondering about the true nature of their viral spat. Ahmedabad Plane Crash News desk at
