Cult Scots band announce world tour playing two iconic albums

A LEGENDARY Scottish indie band are set to embark on a huge world tour to celebrate a special anniversary.
Glasgow rockers Belle and Sebastian will be taking to stages across the planet next year.

The band formed in the city in 1994 and quickly became icons with a cult following.
They will be back on tour in 2026 to celebrate 30 years since the release of two albums.
Their debut studio album Tigermilk and second release If You're Feeling Sinister were both released in 1996.
To celebrate the milestone, the band will be performing both albums IN FULL across the world.
A series of two-night runs will be held in cities across the world.
The first night will have them perform Tigermilk hits such as The State I Am In and, Expectations and Electronic Renaissance.
They will follow it up with hits from their second album like The Stars of Track and Field and Seeing Other People.
The band will hit the road and start with the European leg of the tour before two gigs in the UK.
They will then jet off to North America for two months of gigs.
Before ending it at the Kelvingrove Bandstand in their home city of Glasgow on June 26 and 27.

But they have teased more dates could be added to the line-up in the future.
A pre-sale for the tour's tickets opens tomorrow at 10am.
The general sale will open at 10am on Friday.

A statement from Belle and Sebastian said: "Next year marks a big milestone for the band – 30 years of Tigermilk and If You're Feeling Sinister!
"To celebrate, we'll be playing both albums in full during a special run of two-night shows across the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, and Mexico.
"Each night will be dedicated to one of the records - which we'll play in full - followed by a second set packed with B&S favourites old and new.
"We can't wait to bring these shows out to you next year!
"Artist pre-sale begins Wednesday August 20th at 10am local.
"Tickets go on general sale Friday, August 22nd at 10am local time.
"More shows will announce soon!"
