Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, who are all set to share the screen in this upcoming romantic comedy, recently treated fans to a promotional clip ahead of the film's August 29 release. In the video shared on Instagram, the duo slips effortlessly into the roles of two strangers whose paths cross and hearts connect while grooving to Pardesiya from their much-awaited film.
Their chemistry and fashion moment in the song leaves viewers wanting more. While Janhvi stole the show with her dreamy saree made entirely of delicate flowers paired with a strappy blouse, Sidharth kept it cool and casual in a pink tee, brown jacket and white pants, melting hearts with his easygoing charm.
The promotional push for Param Sundari has been steadily gaining momentum over the past few weeks. Earlier, it was slated for release on July 25, but later, the makers postponed the premiere date to August 29. Announcing the new release date, they shared a video featuring Sidharth and Janhvi and wrote, 'The biggest love story of the year, Param Sundari, from the house of Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films, directed by Tushar Jalota, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, releases August 29. And in just one hour, feel every beat and every emotion of the love story with Pardesiya, the love anthem of 2025."
Previously, a PeepingMoon report revealed the reason behind the delayed release of Param Sundari. It quoted a source as saying, 'Dinesh Vijan didn't want Param Sundari to be lost in a crowded release schedule next month."
'Since there are already other rom-coms releasing in July, the visibility and reception of Sidharth-Janhvi's film might have been affected," the source added.

Tushar Jalota, acclaimed for his work in Dasvi, took on the responsibility of director for the film Param Sundari, which is a heartfelt cross-cultural romance. The story explores the love story of a North Indian boy and a South Indian girl and what happens when two distinct worlds come together. Featuring the fresh on-screen pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, Param Sundari is produced by Maddock Films.
