Florence Pugh Is Radiating Meredith Blake Energy in This Edgy White Skirt Suit

Okay, we've seen the Meredith Blake energy just radiating from Florence Pugh in this white skirt suit, and we've decided. Hot, young, high-powered stepmom-to-be is the aesthetic of the summer. Meredith Blake, of course, refers to the primary villain character in The Parent Trap, though some would argue that she has been unfairly misunderstood. However, we can all agree that her outfits were fabulous.
On April 30 in New York City, Pugh channeled that same vibe, but with a little extra edge. She stepped out in a crisp, white skirt-suit embellished with pointy metal details on the lapels of her structured blazer and one at the hem of her wrap pencil skirt. The jagged edges matched the pointed toes of her metallic silver stilettos. To finish the ensemble, Pugh styled her blonde bob with a messy, dramatic side-part, and added white-rimmed half-moon sunglasses and silver hoops.
Florence Pugh is currently promoting her Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Thunderbolts, in which she plays Yelena Belova, the Black Widow, taking over the character from Scarlett Johansson. And she's obviously taking her duties as bad-ass-superhero seriously. For one thing, she insisted on performing her own stunts for the film—most notably the one where she jumps off of the world's second tallest building. Pugh reportedly argued to Kevin Feige (the MCU's head honcho), 'It's going to do wonders for the press tour.'
Speaking to Marvel on the red carpet at the premiere, Pugh joked about The Stunt, 'I don't know why I forced myself to do that! And I was the main annoying person. I was like tap-tapping away on all the emails being like, 'You need to let me jump off the second tallest building in the world.' I don't know why I did that but I'm so grateful I did. It was a mad experience
Meanwhile, all of her press tour looks have been uniformly striking, whether she's wearing a body-skimming black leather midi dress—as she did for her Jimmy Kimmel appearance on April 28—or a frothy, girly, mint-green Alexander McQueen gown—which she wore for the Thunderbolts premiere in Los Angeles.
