Experts reveal the obvious sign someone is cheating — that most people don't catch: ‘That's a bread crumb worth following'

Turns out, the way to catch a cheater might not be hidden in their texts, tucked in their DMs, or whispered on a late-night phone call. It could be sitting right there on their bank statement. Forget lipstick on the collar — suspicious ATM withdrawals might be the real smoking gun. 'We're basically a cashless society these days, so if your partner has always been about tap-and-go, using a credit card for reward points and suddenly starts doing ATM withdrawals – that's a bread crumb worth following,' private investigator Cassie Crofts explained on TikTok. Why? 'Cash doesn't leave a trail,' Crofts said. 'If they go to a restaurant and spend $200, you can be pretty sure they weren't dining solo. But $200 cash withdrawal? You've got no idea what happened.' Brothel manager Catherine De Noire says the location — and the timing — of those withdrawals can be even more damning. 'The first thing is that a lot of guys don't carry enough cash. So then they go and withdraw money from an ATM, which is usually somewhere near the brothel or inside the brothel,' she said on Instagram, as reported by The Tab. Never mind lipstick on the collar — a shady ATM slip might be the real telltale sign of cheating, experts warn. Prostock-studio – 'This is very suspicious, especially when you see that your partner withdraws a lot of money at 4 am in the morning in this area, and the account is a shared one.' Bottom line: If your joint account suddenly starts hemorrhaging twenties in the wee hours, it might be time for a serious talk. If your shared account's dropping twenties in the dead of night, consider that a blinking red flag. Prostock-studio – And while money might be the most obvious tell, it's not the only household item that can turn snitch. As The Post previously reported, one woman discovered her husband's alleged infidelity thanks to a very unlikely source — their digital scale. In a now-viral Reddit post, a wife using the handle u/throw-Doubt303 claimed she uncovered late-night weigh-ins on their shared scale — while she was out of town and her husband was supposedly home alone. 'I checked the digital scale's memory out of curiosity and it showed two 'unassigned' weigh-ins at exactly 120 lbs, logged at 12:25 a.m. and 12:26 a.m. back-to-back,' she wrote. 'For context, I do not weigh 120 lbs, and I was not there on that date, just my husband.' 'The goal was to work on ourselves to help build a better foundation and we agreed not to see other people,' she added in the comments. Redditors didn't mince words. 'Pro tip — don't tell him you know there was a female there. Get in touch with attorneys to make a game plan,' one advised. 'This is two back-to-back weights. This is pretty simple. He has moved on and is already hooking up with other women. No need to overthink this,' another said. One commenter praised the find: 'This is expert-level sleuthing. Men underestimate our level of intuition. When you confront him, he'll probably try to paint you as crazy or paranoid. You're not.' In other words: if you're looking for clues, don't just follow the money — follow the ounces.

Victoria Pedretti Is Engaged to Ethan DeLorenzo: 'It's No Secret I'm Deeply in Love'

THE RUNDOWN Victoria Pedretti made her engagement public in July 2025, and she wasn't shy about it. The You and Haunting of Hill House actress shared a joint Instagram with her fiancé on July 22, photographer and artist Ethan DeLorenzo. She wrote, 'It's no secret I'm deeply in love or that I'm engaged to Ethan. I tell everyone I meet.' The Instagram included a shot of the couple holding each other and smiling. The pair has kept their relationship very private, so Pedretti's announcement offered a rare look into their dynamic. DeLorenzo added on his Instagram Story, per The Tab, 'Ooooo, the love we are making together is out of this world. Here's to forever.' Below, everything to know about DeLorenzo. DeLorenzo lists himself as a 'father/wild forager/naturalist/director/recording artist/photographer/gardener' on his personal website. His work spans short documentaries, photography, and music. One of his short documentaries, Cider Creek Collective (2025), follows a group of ceramicists and features music played on handmade instruments. His Instagram also offers glimpses into both his work and personal life, with a strong emphasis on natural environments and community living. On April 25, 2025, he posted a carousel of Pedretti posing outdoors in a red dress. He captioned it, 'some photo evidence of our wild hearts frolicking around.' She shared the same photos on her Instagram that day, tagging DeLorenzo. DeLorenzo also posted Polaroid photos of Pedretti the month before, writing, 'i'd lay on the cliff side during the apocalypse with you any day… expired polaroid film 💜.' As of 2025, it's unclear where DeLorenzo currently resides, though he previously lived on Vashon Island for several years. In a 2020 interview on the Our Nature podcast, DeLorenzo shared, 'I am currently on our apple orchard, and it's located in Vashon, Washington. It's a little island you can only get to by ferry. I live in a little eco-village with about six to eight others depending on the time of the year. We have a farm and an orchard. I started a little outdoor mushroom experiment so I grow some mushrooms as well.' He added, 'The best thing about the Pacific Northwest is that there's so much to forage. I'm always foraging for things as well. I've been up here for four years now.' He described the island as a place where he found a sense of home: 'It's the first time I've ever felt that very pure and intentional feeling of home,' he said. During his time in Vashon, he also contributed work to the local Summer Arts Fest, including a photography installation and a music workshop for kids, per the Vashon-Maury Island Beachcomber. DeLorenzo grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he moved to Brooklyn and began working in recording studios. 'I started out working with this mix engineer in a recording studio, his name is Ryan West,' he told Our Nature. 'At the time, he was working a lot with this producer Just Blaze, so we started out at Jay-Z's studio working with Rihanna, T.I…I remember one of the first projects we did was with Kid Cudi when he was working with Eminem.' He added, 'How I got that gig, from a shitty town in Pennsylvania, was the internet. I was just a weird little teenager who loved music and would read the liner notes of my albums and just search them and send them messages, and I found myself an opportunity from being really young and eager.' After working in studios, DeLorenzo joined a band as a drummer with Teyana Taylor called U.G.L.Y. (Underneath Greatness Lies You). 'She was signed to Pharrell at the time and they were starting this band…Long story short, made a bunch of songs, was in that band, got us to move to L.A., and then Teyana got signed by Kanye and kind of went and did her solo thing,' he said. 'Fortunately, now you cannot search it, it's been erased from everything, which I'm grateful for,' he added, referring specifically to the band's music and online presence. He described the experience as pivotal: 'I saw the world, these people were friends of mine and peers…I loved it for a certain amount, and then I think other things started coming up for me. I was like, what do I really want?' During his time in the music industry, DeLorenzo formed friendships with artists including Rihanna and Chris Brown. The three shared a close connection, with DeLorenzo sharing that he and his former girlfriend once lived with Brown when he first moved to L.A. 'Me and Rihanna have the same birthday, February 20. We're Pisces,' DeLorenzo said. 'It was both of our birthdays, and they were going to Hawaii and were like, 'Oh, you should come.' So it was kind of just like that, more of a leisure trip. It was really special, that trip was really pivotal. At the time, I was experimenting with psychedelics and not in a party manner, more of a ritual manner. Mushrooms, usually. I think I started tripping like a year before that trip.' 'On that trip, I remember Rihanna giving me mushrooms, and it was the darkest trip I've ever had,' DeLorenzo said. 'I was feeling everything…People can say what they want, but that feeling that day really brought clarity to my ego and what I really wanted from my life and what felt authentic to me.' He added, 'That led to more clarity on how I moved in my career and then to essentially meeting the mother of my child.' DeLorenzo spoke to Our Nature about the moment he learned his then-partner, Jenna Malone, was expecting their son, Ode. 'When she told me she was pregnant, I was just so happy,' he said. 'I felt such a purpose and like I was prepared for it.' The family initially moved to Big Sur, California. After Ode turned one, DeLorenzo, Malone, and their son lived in a van while traveling up the coast looking for community farmland. When the couple eventually separated, DeLorenzo relocated to Vashon Island to be closer to his son. 'Her and I had our ups and downs,' he said. 'We're not meant to be life partners like that living in the same space so we figured that out on that trip and separated.' 'Before anything, ever since my son was born, it was always father first,' he added. After arriving on Vashon, DeLorenzo found work managing a small community farm. 'I was managing an orchard with raspberries, blueberries, pumpkins, strawberries, tomatoes…Kind of a small community farm, about two acres,' he said. 'And then I ended up transitioning the farm to a co-op farm.' DeLorenzo has described the lifestyle shift as transformational: 'Learning the process of farming, connecting to the trees, growing crops, connecting to those slower processes has made me such a better person and more patient and has given me tools to be a good father,' he said. 'Fast-forward to present time right now…I love my life,' DeLorenzo said in 2020. 'This part of the world, I love the climate, the seasons alone…It has given me tools to listen and be connected to those processes and share them with my son.' He concluded, 'Everything that's informed my life and given me this bliss of a life experience was out of my control. So I've gotten really good at listening and trusting that this is where I'm supposed to go, and this is going to work out in some way.'

Glastonbury performer reveals she's banned from all locations of major supermark

PinkPantheress is fast becoming a Gen-Z British icon, with an unending stream of side quests keeping fans enraptured by the Glastonbury star. Her social media presence is full of chaotic updates and viral songs such as Break It Off, propelling her to Worthy Farm fame. Keeping fans on their toes, after dropping hit song Illegal, she decided to take part (and win) a chess tournament before confessing she's banned from Sainsbury's. That's right, whether it's a small top-up or a big shop, PinkPantheress, 24, won't be heading to those familiar orange signs. She told GQ that the ban was imposed after she was a witness – or maybe accomplice – to her friend stealing a drumstick lolly. 'What is some legal behaviour that feels illegal?' the interviewer asked the Just For Me singer, whose real name is Victoria Beverley Walker, in reference to a TikTok trend inspired by her song. The star answered: 'My friend stole a Drumstick from Sainsbury's, but that actually is illegal. But I remember thinking to myself like – and we got banned – and we really went through it. 'I got banned, but I didn't steal anything. I remember thinking like given our age at the time, one Drumstick resulting in a ban, it's a bit much. Because we were banned from all Sainsbury's across the country.' It's unclear if this is a lifelong ban, so maybe she could try her luck for a quick meal deal but other supermarkets are probably a safer choice. A Sainsbury's spokesperson told The Tab they are unable to verify if the ban is still in place – or if it ever happened at all – so it's worth a try. While this latest criminal lore drop is shocking, those who have been following her journey know it is hardly surprising. The Pain singer previously went viral for correctly naming a ridiculous number of niche bugs on TikTok, because why not? Before that, she was filmed turning people away from her home while in her dressing gown – no context given, of course. She revealed to Pitchfork previously that her address was leaked after flyers for her birthday party got out, although it's thought this was a different incident of randomers knocking on her door. Most recently, Victoria shared that she had done her 'biiiiiiig onneeee' of competing in an under 25s chess tournament and taking home the trophy. She added: 'I don't mention the chess lineage that runs in my family enough girl.' @anthpo #bugs #cool #pinkpantheress ♬ original sound – Anthony Po Her aunt is Susan Lalic, one of the UK's most accomplished chess players, having held the Woman's Grandmaster and the International Master titles. More Trending Dominating women's chess in the 80s and 90s, Susan has five national titles and represented England at nine Chess Olympiads with a rating of 2405 at her peak. So, as the niece of a woman who was once rated higher than 99.9% of players in the world and now spends her time coaching juniors, it's no surprise that Victoria smashed the competition. No doubt, PinkPantheress' antics will continue over the summer now she's wrapped her string of shows, before she returns to the O2 Academy, Brixton in September. After that the Boy's a liar hitmaker is heading out to the US and Canada on tour, with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Brooklyn. Got a story? Why July 9 Is Likely the Shortest Day in Recorded History

Scientists are predicting that July 9, 2025, will be one of the shortest days in recorded history July 22 and Aug. 5 are also predicted to clock in slightly shorter than average Scientists are not totally able to explain the phenomenon, but have proposed adding a "leap second" to the day as soon as 2029Everyone has the same 24 hours to get things done in a day. However, they're going to have a little less time on Wednesday, July 9. That's because the day will be going on record as one of the shortest in history, according to scientists. The 24-hour length of a day is based on the amount of time it takes Earth to complete one rotation on its axis. Twenty-four hours translates to approximately 86,400 seconds. On July 9, experts suggested that the day might be approximately 1.3 milliseconds shorter than average, according to TimeAndDate. Citing the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service, The Tab reported that people might even have 1.6 milliseconds less in their day. A similar trend is expected to occur with infinitesimally small days on July 22 and August 5. While it's unclear exactly what is happening to speed up Earth's rotation, the outlets noted that this has been a recurring trend since 2020. There have been several days that have clocked in at roughly a millisecond shorter than normal. July 5, 2024, currently holds the record for the shortest day, clocking in 1.66 milliseconds short of the average. One theory is that Earth's distance from the moon will impact the length of a rotation, according to Popular Mechanics. Research has also suggested that humanity has changed the length of a day. According to USA Today, a study conducted by NASA suggested that "dwindling ice and groundwater and rising seas" was leading to days that are 1.33 milliseconds longer. What does it mean that July 9 will be shorter than average? For most people, nothing. Even 1.6 milliseconds is too short a length of time for a human to process. To put things in perspective, TimeAndDate reported that it typically takes a person 100 milliseconds to blink. That means the day will be shorter by dramatically less than the blink of an eye. However, even minuscule changes in time can throw off some of the technology that humanity relies on in modern times. Dr. Michael Wouters, time and frequency lead at the National Measurement Institute in Australia, told The Guardian that computer, GPS systems and electricity networks can go on the fritz if timing is off by a billionth of a second. He told the outlet that even banking systems could be thrown out of whack. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "We're transmitting data so quickly, and it all needs to be time tagged, so computers know what data goes where,' he said. The Tab reported that if things continue on this trend, a "leap second" might be introduced in 2029. This means that the day will be recorded as roughly one second longer on average. The outlet cited a report by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service and noted that one was previously added to clocks in 2016. It's worth noting that the length of a day has changed over the years. In the age of the dinosaurs (more than 50 million years ago), it took Earth 23 hours to finish a rotation. Two hundred million years from now, a day might last for as long as 25 hours. Read the original article on People

As MAFSAU's Dave reveals 'love' for another bride, here's the people the cast wished they were matched with

It's been just over a week since Married At First Sight Australia came to an end on E4, but we're still not quite over season 12 - and neither are the cast. Just this week, Dave Hand, who was married to Jamie Marinos, revealed the bride he thinks he would have been "better" matched with. And his answer was very surprising. Responding to a follower on TikTok, who posed the question, Dave said: "I would have to say Fifi, Awhina." But, Dave isn't the only Married at First Sight Australia contestant to suggest he was better suited to someone else. This season, several participants have voiced similar feelings - on and off screen. Read on for a list of all the brides and grooms who wanted to marry someone else on season 12. Dave responded to a fan this week, saying that he would have been better suited to Awhina Rutene, who was married to Adrian Araouzou on the show. On why he thinks they would have been a better match, he gushed about her qualities, saying: "Her caring nature, her gentle soul, she's the GOAT [greatest of all time]. Love Fifi. "I tried my best to look after her in there [the experiment] and every time I saw her, I gave her a big hug. I have lots of respect for her." Dave said that while he hasn't kept in contact with Awhina since filming ended, he wishes her well because she's a "cool chick". This might come as a shock to viewers, as we didn't see much interaction between Dave and Awhina on the show, other than within group settings. Awhina was very close to Dave's bride Jamie, however, so they may have spent a lot of time together off-camera during hangouts with their other halves. In an interview with The Tab, Beth Kelly revealed the groom she would have like to have been matched with on season 12. "The only other person I could see myself with was Billy, just because we've British, because we had that banter," she said, speaking of Billy Belcher who was married to Sierah Swepstone. Beth wasn't very complimentary of the other men on the show, however, adding: "There were a lot of sh*tty men. I feel like every year, they just find men that get worse and worse and worse. "I don't know what it is. I don't know if it's just all men are just cr*p, or if it's just Australian men." During season 12, Beth was matched with Teejay Halkias, but they called it quits before the final vows, as Teejay admitted he didn't feel a deep enough connection with Beth to continue being intimate with her. Eliot Donovan had quite the experience on MAFSAU. He was initially married to Lauren Hall, but ditched her during the honeymoon. He later returned to the show with a new bride, Veronica Cloherty, but things went left soon after Veronica met Lauren who dished all on Eliot, and the couple never really recovered after that. Eliot has spoken about who he thinks he would have been better matched with, and it's Katie Johnstone, who left the experiment after the first Commitment Ceremony following the failure of her marriage to Tim Gromie. Speaking on the MAFS Funny podcast, Eliot opened up about Tim's treatment of Katie, saying: "Tim was a bit weird, we didn't really get along at the bucks party. He wants short, petite and blonde. The way he dealt with it was just brutal. He wouldn't even hug Katie, like she had some deadly virus. I was like dude, give that f***ing girl a hug." He added: "About me being matched with Katie, that's actually something I really love. You know what I loved about Katie? Her parents were so gorgeous, they were really down-to-earth country people that loved her." Eliot said that he reached out to Katie after the experiment to wish her well, but it doesn't sound like anything came of the message, as he's now said to be dating Jamie. After getting his phone back, Adrian took to his Instagram to talk all things MAFS, including details on the bride he wished he was matched with. In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Adrian said that he'd like to have been matched with his backup bride Maxine. Although viewers didn't get to see much of their date, Adrian says he and Maxine actually had "a lot in common." Maxine previously revealed that their date "went well". Speaking to Yahoo, she said: "My date with Adrian went well. I mean, it was pretty scary and unnatural for me to have a camera filming me, but Adrian seemed comfortable with it which helped. "I think they matched us because I said I liked dark features. I don't know anything else [about Adrian] because I haven't watched the show, but living with a stranger for three months, there would've been some butting heads!" While Adrian thinks he would have been better suited to Maxine, his bride thinks otherwise. Responding to a fan, who asked which two people she'd put together, she wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo of her and her son: "Adrian and Jacqui period." Jacqui has since clapped back on her own Instagram Story, writing: "I feel sorry for her. And with her son in the picture?" During season 12, Billy joked that he wanted to do a "wife swap" with Adrian, who had gotten close to his wife Sierah. While at a heated dinner party - which saw Awhina confronting Adrian and Sierah about meeting up - Adrian outed Billy, saying: "What about when you called me and said you wanted to do a wife swap?" He then showed the message to the rest of the table, who were in shock. Billy didn't say anything else on this during the rest of the show and quit the series soon after, but since filming has ended, he's been spending lots of time with Awhina, leading fans to think they're more than just friends. Clint Rice didn't actually say he wanted to be matched with another bride while on the show, but during the photo ranking challenging, he told his wife at the time, Lauren, that he'd place Jacqui much higher and found her attractive. This didn't go down too well with Lauren, who told the producers that she thought Jacqui looked "rough". Anyway, Clint and Jacqui are now engaged, so that pretty much says it all.
