Willow Nightingale Confirms AEW Contract Status

Willow Nightingale is still All Elite. Last week, Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp reported that Willow Nightingale had re-signed with All Elite Wrestling under a multi-year contract. Nightingale, whose previous contract expired later this year, was reportedly happy with her run in AEW, so much so that she looked to stay with the company. Advertisement The Takedown on SI confirmed this to be the case through a new interview with Nightingale. 'That is true, yes. I am happy where I am,' Nightingale told The Takedown on SI's Jon Alba. 'I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish. But also, I'm just really excited to be a part of something when it's fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we're past the years of finding our footing. But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I'm excited to continue, to take part in that.' Nightingale, A 10-year veteran, initially signed with AEW in late 2022. Since then, she's notably claimed the TBS Championship. In 2023, she also won the 2023 Women's Owen Hart Foundation tournament by defeating Ruby Soho in the finals. Currently, Nightingale finds herself entangled in the ongoing story involving The Death Riders, The Elite, The Opps, Swerve Strickland, and Kenny Omega. Last week, she helped her allies fend off The Death Riders and The Elite in the main event of AEW Dynamite. Steve Austin Explains Why He Doesn't Like To Talk About Legacy Anymore

WWE Hall of Famer 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin reflects on his career and says that he had a good time, but it's up to everyone else if they want to remember him. Austin was WWE's top star throughout The Attitude Era, and he helped lead WWE to new heights. The business has changed a lot since then, but Austin's contributions remain unforgettable. Speaking with Zack Heydorn for The Takedown on SI, Steve Austin dismissed the talk of his legacy, as he explained that he didn't want to get too philosophical. He said that his career was what it was, and he had a lot of great moments. However, it was up to the fans whether they wanted to remember him. 'I can't get too philosophical about anything I did,' Austin said. 'When I decided to get into the business of pro wrestling, my mom and dad shook their heads because they didn't get it. They didn't like it. They didn't watch it. I did and I fell in love with it. Nobody had any plans for me a lot of the times. I just kept finding my way and catching breaks here, there, and then hitting on the Stone Cold thing and just knocking a couple of grand slams. 'I don't like to even speak about legacies or any of that stuff anymore. Just it was what it was. I had a good time. If you want to remember me, you can, if you don't, you don't. I was around for a period of time and it didn't last a long time. I had some really good matches. There was more guys out there that have some better matches that then than I did, although I had some classics. I had so many moments. Those character building moments that they had planned for Stone Cold and I think that's what people will remember. But to make it any more important than that, would be silly.'
