Luke Hemsworth had 'a lot of bromance' on The Terminal List: Dark Wolf

Luke Hemsworth had a "lot of bromance" with Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch. The 44-year-old actor was thrilled to work with the Guardians of the Galaxy star on The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, and praised his co-star as a "very giving actor" who he had a lot of fun with. Speaking about Chris, co-star Taylor Kitsch and series co-creator Jack Carr, he told People magazine at the premiere screening in New York: "It's an honour to just stand next to [them]. These guys are at the top of their game. They are my idols." Hailing Chris a "very giving actor", he added: "He allows you all of the space — he's very collaborative. "He's very open to, you know, working on stuff," he continues. "I'm gushing because he's just the most lovely human, he really is. It's disgusting. "There's a lot of bromance [on the set]." Luke explained he had "always been a huge fan" of Taylor's while Chris is "obviously part of the family." He added: "We're all part of the Marvel family in one degree or another." The trio spent a lot of time socialising and playing sport when the cameras were off. Luke said: "You spend most of your day waiting behind the scenes, so you get to know everyone's personal life pretty intimately. "We're in a foreign city, we're shooting in Budapest and Vienna, and they were my only friends, so we're sort of brought together by necessity. "We played padel a lot, yeah. It's very, very competitive." Luke plays Jules Landry in the show and hailed his role "an honour". He added: "It's made for SEALS, it's made for the military, and I think we do it really well. "We have some amazing advisors who are just helping me go left when I should be going right." Meanwhile, Liam is keen to find a project to work on with his actor brothers, Chris and Liam Hemsworth, again. He said: 'I would love it to do all three of us together in a film. 'Liam and I have had a wonderful experience doing another war film called Land of Bad a few years ago and Chris and I have done, you know, a little bit together in the in the Thor films, but I feel like it should be on the cards … and maybe it is, you know, [I'll] put it out there.'

When is The Terminal List Season 2 Coming Out? Here's what we Know

Ever since The Terminal List exploded onto Amazon Prime Video back in July 2022, fans have been itching to see more of Chris Pratt's brooding Navy SEAL, James Reece. The first season—packed with intense action, emotional gut punches, and a gripping revenge story—left a real mark. And now, with cameras officially rolling on Season 2, the wait is finally starting to feel worth it. So, when can we expect it to drop? Who's coming back? And what chaos is James Reece about to dive into next? Here's everything we know so far, minus the fluff. When Will The Terminal List Season 2 Be Released? While Amazon hasn't nailed down an official release date just yet, there's a solid hint at the timeline. Filming for Season 2 kicked off in March 2025 and is expected to wrap sometime around late fall. With the level of action and visual effects this show is known for, post-production will likely stretch out for several months. Looking at the pattern from Season 1—which took about a year from shoot to screen—it's fair to expect a similar rollout this time. Unless something major delays it, summer or early fall 2026 seems like a good window for the premiere. In short, we're still a bit away, but the gears are definitely turning. Who's Returning in The Terminal List Season 2? Chris Pratt is locked in and leading the charge once again as James Reece, and he's already teased that this new season will be 'grittier and more explosive.' That's saying something, considering how brutal Season 1 was. Constance Wu is expected to return as Katie Buranek, the dogged journalist with a spine of steel. JD Pardo has also hinted at a comeback as FBI Agent Tony Layun—one of the few to make it out of Season 1 alive. However, not everyone's returning. Taylor Kitsch's Ben Edwards, a fan favorite, bowed out in the last season. But fans don't have to say goodbye just yet—he's getting his own spotlight in the upcoming prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf , premiering August 27, 2025. Joining the cast this season are a few exciting names. Gabriel Luna (you might've seen him in The Last of Us ) steps in as Freddy Strain, a hardened ex-SEAL and CIA man with a complicated past. Martin Sensmeier plays Sergeant Major Otatkay, and new recurring characters played by Costa Ronin, Edwin Hodge, and Caitlin Bassett are expected to stir things up. What's the Plot for The Terminal List Season 2? Season 2 is diving into True Believer , the second book in Jack Carr's bestselling series. After the fallout from Season 1, James Reece isn't exactly lying low. This time, he's offered a presidential pardon for his actions—on one condition: he's got to help take down a global terrorist threat. Reece finds himself hunting a mysterious former Iraqi commando, uncovering a trail that leads straight into a massive conspiracy, with rogue CIA operatives, high-stakes assassinations, and ghosts from his own past. Expect even bigger set pieces, international locations, and a deeper look into Reece's psyche as he wrestles with the violence he's both survived and inflicted. If the early 2025 teaser trailer (which racked up over 15 million views in a week) is any sign, this season is going to be just as brutal and relentless—but with a more global, spy-thriller feel. 'Friday Night Lights' Star Taylor Kitsch Offers Update on Reboot Return

'Friday Night Lights' Star Taylor Kitsch Offers Update on Reboot Return originally appeared on Parade. Taylor Kitsch isn't suiting up for the Friday Night Lightsreboot. Well, at least not in the way fans had hoped. The actor, 44, who played brooding fan-favorite Tim Riggins in the NBC drama from 2006 to 2011, confirmed this week that he won't return for the upcoming FNL revival series currently in development at Peacock. 'I was asked to do it,' Kitsch told The Wrap on August 4 at the premiere of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. 'Yeah, I'm not going back. No.' That statement only confirmed the comments he made earlier this year during a SiriusXM interview, where he acknowledged he'd been approached about the project but said he didn't plan to reprise the role full time. He's not the only alumni in limbo. Connie Britton, who played Tami Taylor on the series, told Parade in March that the new show is "barely on" her radar. Still, for fans holding out hope to see Riggins down a cold one in Dillon, all may not be lost. 'I'll do a cameo,' Kitsch said in a separate interview with Access. 'I would do one. It's got to be out of control, though.' Asked how he imagines Riggins might be living these days, Kitsch didn't miss a beat: 'Probably having a cold one on the lake with a couple girls waiting for him in the cabin." Kitsch's portrayal helped define the soul of the original Friday Night Lights, based on the 1990 nonfiction book and 2004 film of the same name. While the show built a full ensemble of standout performances — including Kyle Chandler, Michael B. Jordan, and Jesse Plemons — Kitsch became a fan favorite. Peacock's reboot, officially announced in December, will be a reinvention of the original series, set in the wake of a devastating hurricane as a new high school football team and their interim coach rally for a Texas state championship. This former 'Friday Night Lights' star may make a cameo in series reboot

Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can't lose. Those six words are permanently etched into the brains of every fan who ever watched the hit TV show Friday Night Lights and they may hear them again soon. Back in December, fans of the show learned that a new adaptation of the series is currently in development at Peacock (which beat out Netflix) and Universal Television. The new show takes place after a hurricane as a Texas high school football team attempts to compete for a state championship. We don't know much about the show yet, but here is what we heard from Peter Berg, who will return as director and executive producer of the show (via Esquire): "It's a complete reinvention of the show. We want to do it with a whole new cast, but obviously there'll be football in it. But the original show was done a long time ago ... There's just so many new elements, so we want to look at that. And if certain cast members come back, have appearances, that's great. But if Friday Night Lights works, it'll be because it works as a reinvention.' So which of these "certain cast members" might come back to have appearances? Connie Britton, who played one of the lead roles Tami Taylor, told Vanity Fair earlier this summer that she would be willing to have a "real tight little cameo" in the reboot. Taylor Kitsch, who portrayed star player Tim Riggins, said in the same interview that he "won't be a part of it" this time around. During a recent interview with The Wrap to promote The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, it once again seemed that Kitsch did not seem particularly interested: "I was asked to do it. Yeah, I'm not going back. No." Based on that answer, it seemed unlikely fans would see Riggins in the project. During his conversation with Access Hollywood, meanwhile, Kitsch added that he had not spoken to Kyle Chandler about it. But he seemed more willing to participate. "[Expletive] I'll do a cameo. I would do one. It's got to be out of control, though. I don't know. We'll see." Then, when asked how he thought Riggins was probably spending his time these days, here is what he said: "Where would Riggs be? Probably [expletive] having a cold one on the lake with a couple girls waiting for him in the cabin." So perhaps Kitsch would actually do a funny arc (perhaps as an opposing coach) in the new version of the show in an episode "for like eight seconds" after all. Meanwhile, in addition to Berg as director and executive producer, Jason Katims will return as the showrunner and executive producer. Brian Grazer will return as an executive producer. Kristen Zolner from Imagine Entertainment will also join as an executive producer. This article originally appeared on For The Win: Friday Night Lights star may make a cameo in series reboot

Taylor Kitsch says he's not returning as Tim Riggins in 'Friday Night Lights' reboot

Taylor Kitsch says he's won't be part of the highly anticipated " Friday Night Lights" reboot -- he has his sights set on something else. At the red carpet premiere for "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf" on Monday night, Kitsch opened up to The Wrap about whether he would be involved in the upcoming reboot. "I was asked to do it," he said. "I'm not going back, no." Instead, he said he would be continuing his work with Howlers Ridge, a nonprofit retreat center in Bozeman, Montana, aimed at supporting veterans and those battling addiction. "It's for veterans and people on the sober side of addiction," said Kitsch, who mentioned that the program is in its third year. "Addiction runs through my family, it's affected my life on so many levels. And then, obviously, the veteran community, the SEAL community, and the veteran families have affected my life for the better." In "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf," Kitsch stars as Ben Edwards, a CIA operative. The series follows Ben "throughout his journey from the Navy SEALS to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations," according to a press release, and stars Chris Pratt, Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth and more. The series is a prequel to the 2022 series "The Terminal List," which starred Kitsch, Pratt, Constance Wu, Riley Keough and more. "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf" is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Aug. 27, 2025. Kitsch previously portrayed Tim Riggins on "Friday Night Lights" for five seasons. The show aired its first season in 2006 and centered around a high school football team in small-town Texas, led by Coach Eric Taylor, played by Kyle Chandler. Connie Britton, Aimee Teegarden, Zach Gilford, Brad Leland, Jesse Plemons, Derek Phillips and Minka Kelly also starred in the series. "Friday Night Lights" concluded in 2011 after five seasons. It won three Emmys, including outstanding lead actor in a drama series for Chandler. Kitsch opened up to ABC News in 2014 about how the show was close to his heart. "There's so many good memories, really," he said. "We were incredibly spoiled on that show. Riggins' last game was tough. That was a big day. Those are the good memories I have." In December 2024, "Good Morning America" confirmed that a new adaptation of "Friday Night Lights" was in development at Peacock. The adaptation will focus on a high school football team and their interim head coach who vie for a Texas High School State Championship title, serving as a point of hope for their hurricane-devastated town. Jason Katims, the original showrunner and executive producer, will return to the show with Peter Berg, the original show director.
