Meet the Wexford woman who will conduct BBC's The Traitors Prom – ‘It's a huge deal'
Enniscorthy Guardian Today at 12:57 A Wexford woman will be at the helm of this year's BBC's The Traitors Prom today, where she will conduct the orchestra through some of the most iconic music featured in the tv show phenomenon and more. Karen Ní Bhroin from Ferns has quickly established herself as one of Ireland's foremost young conductors, with a career that spans both sides of the Atlantic. A music education graduate of Trinity College Dublin, she earned her Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting at Kent State University, Ohio, where she studied with Dr. Jungho Kim as his Graduate Assistant Conductor.

You can now watch BBC's The Traitors Live The Traitors will be invading the Royal Albert Hall this summer, as the hit BBC TV series gets its own BBC Proms Do you want to watch Claudia Winkleman do her thing live? Well, now you can. (Image: Cody Burridge/BBC/PA Wire ) This summer, fans of BBC's The Traitors will be able to watch their favourite reality competition show live from The Royal Albert Hall. The iconic fringed host, Claudia Winkleman will to be joined by a star-studded line-up from the series as they host their own BBC Proms. Audiences will find themselves fully engrossed in The Traitors universe, with appearances from previous cast members and memorable moments from the show. They have said to "expect banishments, deception and all the drama from the Round Table," with a musical twist. The Traitors Prom will be held at The Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, July 26 with a matinee at 3pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm. The event will also be broadcasted live on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Sounds at 3pm on Saturday, July 26, meaning you can listen to the beloved Traitors tracks from the comfort of your own home. The series, which attracted an average audience of over 10 million for its third series, often uses a range of classical music to underscore the action unfolding in the Scottish Highlands castle. Article continues below Much like the show, The Traitors Prom will incorporate these well-known classical pieces from composers such as Mozart, Puccini and Tchaikovsky. However, it will also include a line up of 'Traitors Pop', which arevgothic and symphonic renditions of chart hits by artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Britney Spears. Featuring in the evening will be season three contestants, BBC Radio 1 presenter Minah Shannon, ex-opera singer Linda Rands and classical music aficionado Alexander Dragonetti, with more names soon to be announced.
