Katie Price fires back after Peter Andre hits out in shock rant
Katie Price has hit back after Peter Andre shared a blistering new Instagram post, in which he strongly criticises his ex-wife Former glamour model Katie Price and Peter Andre met on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004 and went on to have two children together – Princess, 18, and Junior, 20 – before separating in 2009. In a new Instagram post, Peter wrote: 'For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. 'That ends today.' Peter's statement, posted against a black background to his Instagram feed, continued: 'The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. 'For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. 'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. 'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.' In a statement to Metro, Katie's representative said: 'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. 'Kate will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was…' Since Peter posted the statement, Katie took to her Instagram Stories to share details for a pair of tummy tuck leggings she's promoting. It comes after Katie slammed those producing their daughter Princess Andre's debut reality ITV series, The Princess Diaries. Katie Price hits out at daughter Princess' new TV show after being branded ‘tras
Katie Price has spoken out about the alleged rift with her daughter Princess (Picture: Princess Andre/Instagram) Katie Price had revealed that she is considered 'trash' who ruins her daughter Princess's brand. Chatting to her sister Sophie Price on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, on an episode titled The Truth Behind The Princess Diaries, the duo chatted openly about Katie's daughter's new ITV2 show. The show is set to focus on Katie's eldest daughter, Princess, who she raised with her ex-husband Peter Andre. The reality TV star revealed on her podcast that she has been deliberately cut out of the new TV series because it wasn't good for Princess' brand. 'I want the best for Junior and Princess, and I would never get in the way of it,' she began in the most recent episode. 'But what hurts my feelings, and it does upset me, is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you go to their football matches or gymnastics, you're involved in everything they do. 'And knowing that, what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path, trying to do the same as what I've done, which I absolutely love and adore [about] Princess.' McCormack/Getty Images for Bauer) She then added that she 'wasn't welcome' and was concerned that it put her daughter in an awkward position. 'But I have not been allowed to go on any photo shoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome. 'And it puts Princess in a situation because I don't want her to feel she has to choose between me and her work because I want her to do well. 'And I have said to Princess, just see how it feels for me because I should be there supporting you, I want to be there to support you like my family did. And I'm your mum, and especially as you're doing stuff that I did, I'm proud of you and want to be there.' She added that it was her ex-husband and the management team who were stopping her involvement. Katie and Princess have always been close (Picture: Princess Andre/Instagram) 'But unfortunately, the management team and Pete, won't allow me to be near here. They have made it clear, they won't allow Princess to do photoshoots with me, they won't allow me to got to any events with Princess – because they think I am trash basically. 'Now, everyone knows she's my daughter. So what difference does it make? Like if it wasn't for me or Pete, Princess and Junior wouldn't be known anyway. And I find it an insult as I've been in the industry for 30 years.' She added that there was no one better suited to guide Princess in this journey. The cameras have been following her around for some time and focus on her life behind the spotlight.
