The Turtles will bring '60s pop back to the State Fair Grandstand this summer

The Turtles are bringing their catchy '60s pop back to the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand for the third straight year as part of its Happy Together 2025 tour. On Aug. 25, the "She'd Rather Be With Me" group returns to the fairgrounds with Jay and the Americans, The Vogues, and the Cowsills, all of whom joined them last year. This year, they'll bring along a pair of acts that weren't part of last year's throwback show. Little Anthony and Gary Puckett & the Union Gap will also be on the bill. Though, both groups performed as part of The Turtles' Happy Together Tour in 2023 when it came to the Grandstand. It's a six-band lineup that combines for 55 Billboard Top-40 hits across their decades of performing. In total, this will be the 10th time The Turtles have been part of a Grandstand lineup. They first appeared on the stage in 1998 and then went on a six-year run starting in 2011. After a short break, they've again become a staple, with the 2025 performance marking their third straight year of bringing California pop to the state in late August. Tickets for what's dubbed the Happy Together Tour 2025 go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m., with standard reserved seating tickets starting at $33. Party Deck tickets start at $66. It's the fourth show announced for the 2025 Grandstand, following announcements for Old Dominion (Aug. 21), Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls (Aug. 24), and Def Leppard (Aug. 26).
