Introducing Theeth, the multi-instrumentalist high schooler making indie pop that belongs in your playlist
Some call this Sydney superstar 'Theanel Messi' and we can tell you with confidence she's been kicking goals throughout 2025.

Meet 17-year-old Sydney based artist who goes by her playground-nickname-turned-popstar-alias Theeth. Her music seems to elicit the same reaction from every triple j presenter who hears it, incredulousness that these fully formed records are the product of a high-school brain.

Theeth's intricate lyrics and impressive vocal dynamics have landed her on the Unearthed Radar for some time now, even appearing in 2024's Unearthed High Yearbook as most likely to reel us in "hook, line and sinker". Those same clever lyrical sensibilities and a penchant for strange production choices caught the ear of a certain Alice Ivy with the Melbourne producer taking her under her wing. While Alice Ivy's fingerprints are evident on most recent single 'Paper Frames', there's a zany strangeness that is still inimitably all Theeth with that oddball magic making for unexpected choruses and clever songwriting moments.
'Paper Frames' is a synth-filled, sun-drenched track which very nicely aligns with how she herself describes her own music: "A concentrated beam of sun on a very hot Summer's day."
It's a delicate and floating indie-pop keeper, with the bounce of Remi Wolf and grooves circa the Avalanches. The track's garnered rave reviews on triple j Unearthed and caught the attention of the greater triple j team, elevating her from an honourable mention in last year's comp to a certified finalist everyone should have their ears around in 2025!
