Justin Bieber Finally Opens Up About His Public ‘Struggles' On New Album ‘Swag'

Justin Bieber is getting candid about how the public's perception of him — and the constant concern for his well-being — has been challenging to deal with. The pop star, 31, dropped the surprise album Swag, which features 21 tracks, on Friday, July 11. Track 14, titled 'Therapy Sessions,' isn't a traditional song as it features Bieber having a raw conversation with comedian Druski. 'Even sometimes where I know you're trollin', and they don't even understand it, like, 'Oh my God, he's f**kin' losin' his mind,'' Druski, 30, can be heard saying, referring to how fans have found Bieber's Instagram posts worrisome. 'And it's like, 'Nah, I think he's just bein' a human bein' he's enjoyin' social media like the f**kin' rest of us. He's just doin' it his own way.' The two-time Grammy Award winner responds, explaining, 'That's been a tough thing for me recently. It's feeling like, you know, I have had to go through a lot of my struggles as a human, as all of us do, really publicly, so people are always asking if I'm ok, and that starts to really weigh on me.' Druski then adds, 'Becausе it's like when somebody keeps sayin', 'Why you cryin'? Why you cryin'?' It's like, 'B**ch, I'm not, but now I am, f**k.'' Bieber — who shares 10-month-old son Jack Blues with wife Hailey, 28, — agrees, saying, 'It starts to make me feel like I'm the one with issues and everyone else is perfect.' Over the last few months, fans have been expressing their concern for the former teen idol. On June 10, the singer-songwriter reposted an Instagram Reel that featured an alleged comment he left under a now-deleted post by @todayyearsold. The post featured a series of text messages from someone's grandfather, which read, 'I am worried about Justin' and 'There is so much heartbreak in Justin's life.' The user wrote, 'We all are,' at the top of the post. Bieber didn't appreciate the unwarranted concern as he allegedly then commented, 'Worry about yourself, gramps.' In the past, the 'Peaches' hitmaker has posted on social media about his emotional struggles. 'People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?' he wrote in a June 16 Instagram post. 'I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.' Bieber continued, 'The harder I try to grow the more focused on myself I am. Jesus is the only one who keeps me wanting to make my life about others. 'Because honestly I'm exhausted with thinking about myself lately aren't you?' Solve the daily Crossword

Justin Bieber Admits He Can Be 'Extremely Selfish' in Personal Message

Originally appeared on E! Online Justin Bieber knows it's never too late to say sorry. Indeed, the 'Peaches' singer reflected on what he sees as his personal shortcomings while sharing how he leans on his spirituality during tough times. 'Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning,' Justin wrote in a July 29 post to X (formerly Twitter). 'I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me.' Alongside pictures of himself smiling while hiking in the woods, the 31-year-old added an optimistic message to fans, saying, 'Let's have a good day, let's go outside. Get in nature.' While the reflection from Justin—who shares son Jack Blues, 11 months, with wife Hailey Bieber—offered a peek into his mindset, it's not the first time he has let the world in on his insecurities. In fact, earlier this year he opened up about feeling inadequate amid his success. "I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud," Justin wrote on his Instagram Story in March. "Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, 'Damn, if they only knew my thoughts, how judgmental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn't be saying this.'" Justin also used the moment to pay tribute to the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who died at the age of 76on July 22. At the end of his photo dump, the 'Baby' singer included a throwback photo with the heavy metal singer. Justin's new album is among his most honest, sharing insight into how he's learned to navigate his years living life in the public eye. In 'Therapy Sessions,' one of the album's many interludes featuring Druski, the comedian and Justin discuss the latter's social media presence, which has raised eyebrows in recent months. Justin also channeled that vulnerability into his new album Swag—released earlier this month—detailing how being a public figure has impacted the way he processes his emotions. Justin's seventh studio album wasn't just a space for him to discuss his insecurities, though. He also highlighted his relationship with Hailey, who he believes supports him for better or worse. 'I'm startin' to be open to the idea that you know me too,' he sings on the song 'Devotion.' He then adds, 'I like when you hold me to ya / I like when you scold me too.' Justin Bieber's most concerning album lyrics as fans worried by revelations

Justin Bieber has surprised fans by dropping a new album called SWAG, which features emotional songs and voice notes including Therapy Sessions, Glory Voice Memo and All I Can Take Justin Bieber has surprised fans by dropping a new album titled SWAG. The Baby singer released new music, with tracks including Therapy Sessions, Dadz Love and Devotion amongst others. In his emotional album - which some fans are describing as his best work yet - Justin opened up about his own feelings and emotions at length, where he and his collaborators sang and spoke about their emotions. ‌ Justin has concerned fans as of late with his erratic social media posts, and there had even been rumours he had split from his wife Hailey Bieber. However, it seems like they are stronger than ever as he shared a snap of them and their son to mark the album release. ‌ Here's all the most heartbreaking lyrics in Justin's new album. All I Can Take In his song All I Can Take, Justin sings about "no one listening" and talks about the "symptoms of his sensitivity". He explains in the lyrics: "These symptoms of my sensitivity / Feels worser knowin' no one's listening / This is it, I can't change, Lord knows I try." ‌ In another part of the song, he sings about all he can take, as he shares: "And it's all I can take (In this moment) / And it's all I can take (All I can take) / And it's all I can take (In this moment)." Daisies In Daisies, he talks about whether someone loves him or not and his own fears about the future of a bond with someone else. He makes no specific reference to any relationship including that of his wife Hailey Bieber. In the song, he sings, "Throwin' petals like, "Do you love me or not?" / Head is spinnin', and it don't know when to stop / You said "Forever," babe, did you mean it or not? / Hold on, hold on." ‌ Go Baby In his track Go Baby, Justin sings about supporting someone else as they struggle. He promises them they can cry on his shoulder whenever they need and that they "don't need to pretend" they're ok. "When sunlight turns to shadow and it gets hard to face / Like water to a flower, babe, I know you need the rain / Nothing needs to work out and nothing needs to break / Don't need to pretend that you're okay," he sings. ‌ "So cry on my shoulder, just turn into me / Cry on my shoulder whenever you need it / You better believe it that I can hold all the weight and shrivel inside." Butterflies In Butterflies, Justin sings about someone just wanting money from him. Money has been a big topic surrounding Justin as he reportedly owed $26 million to his former manager Scooter Braun. Braun stepped in to pay for Justin when he was given an advance for his Justice tour, which he cancelled. Justin has now reportedly agreed to pay back the $26 million as well as half of a whopping $11 million that Braun claimed he was owed in unpaid commissions. ‌ In his song, he sings: "You just want money / Money, money, money, money, money, money / Money, get out of here, bro / Money, that's all you want, you don't care about human beings / All you want is money." Walking Away In his track Walking Away, Justin worryingly sings about being "defenceless" and wanting to change. ‌ "Days go by so fast, don't wanna spend them with you / So tell me why you're throwing stones at my back / You know I'm defenceless," he sings, whilst in another bit, he adds: "I made you a promise / I told you I'd change / It's just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain't walking away." Glory Voice Memo Perhaps one of the most heartbreaking moments of the album, he sings about being used and "let down". He sings over a heavy bassline: "I've been used, and I've been beaten down / I been let down and strung out / Too wild when I fall down, screaming out / But I, I reach out my hands, I'm beggin' You for mercy." ‌ Therapy Sessions In Therapy Sessions, Justin speaks openly about his feelings and struggles, addressing the concerns in full for the first time. He tells his collaborator Druski: "And that's been a tough thing for me recently / It's feelin' like, you know, I have had to go through a lot of my struggles as a human / As all of us do really publicly. "And so people are always askin' if I'm okay / And that starts to really weigh on me." When Druski talks about people's reaction to his comments, he adds: "It starts to make me feel like I'm the one with issues and everyone else is perfect." ‌ Fan feedback Since the album dropped, fans have been taking to social media to share their concerns. One wrote: "Damn it hurt me listening like , I just kept thinking that's exactly what's going on inside his head right now, very sad man indeed. And music is a Pass. Sorry Justin.. it's just terrible," as another added: "I really need people to listen to this album not expecting justin bieber but just justin. it's raw, it's real, it's vulnerable and you can tell it was therapeutic for him to make. "He stepped away for years and made his most authentic project yet. it's an album full of REAL music, it's an album full of JUSTIN, a man who loves to make music for the ART. i truly love everything about it." Another added: "YOU FOUND YOUR SOUND JB THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM YET."
