Lafourche Parish corrections officer fired, arrested, Sheriff's Office reports
A Lafourche Parish Corrections Officer was fired and arrested for alleged sexual contact with a juvenile.
Luke Vizier, 26, of Cut Off was arrested Thursday, July 3, and charged with sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile. Bail is set at $150,000.
The alleged incident took place in April of 2023, according to a news release by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. That was about one year prior to his employment at LPSO, the release said.
Vizier worked for the department just under 15 months at the Thibodaux jail.
