Tom Archer claims top honours at OMA Emirates Medalford in association with Unique Holding
In a thrilling day of competition at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Tom Archer emerged as the Overall Champion in the OMA Emirates Medalford, in association with Unique Holding, shooting a remarkable net 64 to top a 97-player field.
This month's edition of the popular event brought together golfers from across the UAE for a unique test of skill under the Medalford format. This format combines traditional stroke play with stableford scoring to ensure maximum inclusion and drama. Despite the high stakes, the spirit remained friendly and inclusive—even for those unable to finish every hole.
Stars of the Day
Overall Gross Champion:
James Oh dazzled with a clinical 3-under-par 69, securing top honours in the gross category. Paul McMahon finished runner-up at +1 (73) on countback.
Overall Medalford Champion:
Tom Archer was the standout performer of the day, carding a gross 71 and a stunning net 64, finishing eight shots under par to claim the top prize.
Juniors & Seniors Shine Bright
In the Junior Division, rising star Ayaan Khan posted an impressive gross 75 (net 68), earning him the Junior Champion title. Meanwhile, seasoned campaigner Steve Pyle clinched the Senior Champion trophy with a net 69, finishing three under par.
Ladies Champion
Sunny Yao led the women's leaderboard with a stellar net 68, sealing a four-under finish and adding another title to her season.
