Force Motors and BMW Group India mark 100,000th engine roll-out

announced the roll-out of the
100,000th engine
from their engine assembly facility in Chennai. The engine was fitted into a BMW X5. The ceremony was attended by Marcus Wollens, Vice President, BMW Production Network 2, BMW AG; Thomas Dose, Managing Director, BMW Group Plant Chennai; and Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Force Motors Ltd.
The Chennai facility, established in 2015 to manufacture engines for locally produced BMW models, operates automated lines under strict quality controls and forms part of BMW Group's localisation strategy in India.
Indo-German partnership in focus
