Finn (Tanner Novlan) refuses to let Grace (Cassandra Creech) leave. He has serious questions about Liam's treatment and he wants answers. Liam (Scott Clifton) tells Hope (Annika Noelle) that he's been saying Dr. Buckingham's name over and over again, and now it has two meanings. There's Grace, who saved his life, but the other Buckingham took their daughter and tormented them. Grace says she doesn't know why Finn is asking about the money. She insists that the money was needed for a private surgical suite and all of the costs. Grace warned Bill that it would be expensive. Finn agrees, but he asks if it was all necessary. Ridge is on the move, looking for Brooke. She's on the boat having lunch with Nick, praising how he's always 'full of surprises.' Liam calls 'the tale of two Buckinghams' crazy. One ripped their lives apart, and Hope says the other one put their lives back together. She calls it a miracle. Liam says it's his second favorite miracle, after getting Beth back. Hope says no one should have to go through that kind of pain. Especially not because of Reese's gambling debts. Grace insists that the surgery was necessary to save Liam's life. Finn points out that he never saw the neuro team in Liam's room, and all of the data came through Grace, not the team. She doesn't understand why he's asking questions, but he points out that he saw the MRI results she sent to Bill, and there are holes in the story, especially after finding out it cost a million dollars. He wonders if Liam ever had brain cancer at all. Brooke and Liam enjoy their food, all presented by a personal chef. Ridge is at the docks, and he overhears some workers talking about Nick. Nick's assistant says they have been working on Nick's boat, but the steering is 'no good,' so Ridge asks where the boat is and races off to find it. Liam and Hope recall their harrowing experience when Beth was born and Reese stole their daughter, leading them to think she didn't make it. But now his ex-wife is the one who saved Liam's life. Liam wonders if it's 'cosmic payback' that Grace saved him. Hope can't believe someone would do something 'so heinous, all in the name of money.' Grace says she's too busy and she tries to leave, but Finn won't let her leave. He says Grace hasn't been herself for months, and she's shaking. Grace knows Liam is important to him, and Finn says he's grateful, but the story doesn't add up. Plus, he looked at the incisions and they're too small. His recovery was too fast. The neuro team also has no record of Liam having a brain tumor after his brain bleed. Finn says Grace used to copy him on emails with Liam's progress, but when he thinks back, he only ever saw Grace monitoring Liam's treatment. Now he's wondering if Liam ever had a brain tumor to begin with. Nick pilots the boat out of the slip. Brooke is on the back of the boat, and he struggles with the steering from the start. Ridge leaves a frantic message on Brooke's phone, warning her not to get on the boat, as Eric (John McCook), in his hotel room, realizes that he has to do something to find Brooke. Ridge, in the meantime, sees Nick's boat heading out to sea. Liam notes that as painful as all the Reese talk is, it reinforces how blessed they are to have Beth in their lives. He grasps Hope's hand and says they're blessed it came full circle. Hope calls Grace a saint and expresses her gratitude for everything Grace has done for their family. 'I thank God we didn't lose you,' she says. Grace says she has an appointment. She's visibly shaken as Finn points out the small incisions, the fast recovery and the missing records. Grace says all that matters is that Liam is going to live, but Finn says he was never sick to begin with. Grace breaks down in tears and says she had no choice, admitting, 'I made the whole thing up.' She admits she made it all up because Reese and his gambling debts were threatening her girls, and they were at risk. She needed the money and was desperate to get it. Ridge races along the boardwalk as Nick tries to steer the boat. He narrowly avoids a collision, but Brooke falls into the water. Ridge, without hesitation, dives into the water to save her. Love, Lies, and Surprises on The Bold and the Beautiful July 21-25
The Bold and the Beautiful wasn't playing around this week! July 21–25 brought high drama as Brooke went all in for Ridge, Sheila soaked up her so-called happily ever after, and Steffy said 'enough' and stepped away from the madness. Brooke (and Eric) Came In HOT! Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang) was spent fighting off one man while fighting for the other. From Nick (Jack Wagner) making an impassioned plea to her on Monday to that shocking ultimatum she issued to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) in the middle of the week, to begging for another chance on Friday, she was all in on reuniting with her main man. Brooke is a woman in love and she's not alone in her plight. Eric (John McCook) was also right there all week advocating for his son to chase his destiny instead of chasing a dream with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). While his meddling didn't exactly win Ridge over, it did help Brooke state her case and getting into Ridge's head! Shall We Start Calling Her the She-Angel Now? Also having a great week was Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). She got a surprise visit from Finn (Tanner Novlan) and for the first time in a very, very long time, he didn't push her away. In fact, he thanked her profusely for protecting his wife…even it it meant losing his (diabolical and completely deranged) daughter. Things in Sheila's world became even brighter when she turned up at the Spencer mansion and was welcomed in by none other than Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)! Talk about a turn of events! Steffy even thanked her and asked how she was. Was this a turning point? Absolutely. Now, we just have to see if Sheila can keep on this upward trajectory. An Emotional Goodbye Speaking of Steffy, we have to say, our hearts are a bit broken knowing she's leaving town for a few weeks. Her last moments this week by Liam's bedside were spent making plans to take the kids and get away for a while so she can process all this drama and trauma Luna (Lisa Yamada) put everyone through. Is this break needed so the actress can go on her real-life maternity leave? Yes. Of course. Does that mean we'll miss Steffy any less? No. It will be interesting to see what goes on in Los Angeles while Finn (Tanner Novlan) alone, though. He's been a dutiful husband since the day they took their vows but we all know in Los Angeles, everything can change in an instant! Got a sizzling fan theory? The Bold and the Beautiful is headed back to Italy, where, as fans know, romance always blossoms. As Parade reported, Jack Wagner (Nick) teased that things heat up between Nick and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), much to Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) dismay. Kaye opened up about the infamous love triangle of Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor (Rebecca Budig). Now that Nick is back in the mix to fight for Brooke, Kaye admitted to TV Insider that there are plenty of twists and turns in Italy. 'I think Ridge feels threatened, not necessarily by Nick as a person, but by any man who walks in and is ready to give Brooke the full attention she deserves. I think Ridge is threatened by that, because he can't do it. I think the insecurity is that she's going to see that Ridge is not irreplaceable,' Kaye shared with the outlet. Ridge and Brooke reunited last time the CBS soap was in Italy. Kaye didn't say if history would repeat itself, but he did have some words of encouragement for fans. 'Without question, these are some of the most beautiful places in the world. In addition to the mystery of Naples, there's something about being on an island. Something could happen because weather could come in, or somebody that knows a lot about boats may not know as much as he thinks he does…. You've got to tune in for it,' he expressed. Quadrangle Mayhem: B&B Fans React to the Ridge-Brooke-Taylor-Nick Tangle
On The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke and Ridge had reunited after their last trip to Italy. But when Carter and Hope staged a coup and took over Forrester Creations, Brooke joined them to surreptitiously get them to relinquish control. However, Ridge didn't allow Brooke time to explain, so he dumped her and went back to Taylor. Ever since, Brooke has been trying to get Ridge to rekindle their romance, to no avail. Now, Nick has returned to Los Angeles and has been wooing Brooke to forget Ridge and come back to him. With all this back and forth, fans have been very vocal about the chaos created by these four. On B&B's official Instagram page, a screenshot of Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was posted with the caption, 'These two 😳🫣.' Over Taylor's pic was a line of dialogue in which she stated, 'I sincerely hope Nick's [Jack Wagner] return to LA works out for you,' while over Brooke was her snarky response, 'I'm sure you do.' One fan commented, 'Taylor is so desperate!' Another viewer wrote, 'I think Brooke is a doormat; she likes to [be] abused by Ridge [Thorsten Kaye] all the time. It looks like a nice hobby for her. She doesn't need Ridge. Let Taylor have him.' Someone else interjected with the comment, 'I'm glad Brooke is free from Ridge. She deserves to be happy with Nick.'
