One Place honors early educators during Teacher Appreciation Week
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — One Place to join students, families, and educators in the celebration for Teacher Appreciation Week from May 5-9, 2025.
Teacher Appreciation Week is a great way to celebrate and show appreciation to local teachers and early educators for their hard work, dedication, and impact on children's lives.

Your dedication and passion for nurturing young mindslay the foundation for a brighter future,' Chief Early Education Officer at One Place, Autumn Bishop said. 'Early Childhood Education is not just a profession; it is a calling that shapes thelives of children and their families.'
One Place plans to host many events to celebrate and honor local early educators who dedicate their time and talent to nurturing these young minds.
The events include:
May 6: Paint & Sip
May 7: Bingo Night at TNT Bingo
May 8: Dinner and Cooking Demonstration
'We are proud to host three special events in recognition of the invaluable contributions madeby our early educator workforce,' NC Pre-K director at One Place, Courtney Wandishin said. 'The events are a token of our deep appreciation for their dedication to creating safe, nurturinglearning environments for our youngest learners. Their commitment does not go unnoticed.'
All events are no cost to attend. Pre-registration is required.
