A spokesperson for English Heritage, the charity managing Bolsover Castle, said: "We are sorry to confirm that the upcoming Proms event at Bolsover Castle on 19th and 20th September has been cancelled as the organisation UK Proms has gone into liquidation. "We are sorry for the disappointment caused by this news. 'As this event has not been organised by English Heritage, we advise you contact the ticket provider you booked through regarding any outstanding refund." "We are absolutely heartbroken that we are unable to put on these incredible shows for you all at this time, but please be assured as soon as things are settled we will be immediately looking at ways we can work towards revisiting in the UK in the near future."
