Not only this, but she's also battled eggy sulfur burps, as well as hair loss. Posting on social media, Bethany, who recently revealed that she now has 'Mounjaro booty', wrote: 'Some of my side effects since being on Mounjaro.' She then confirmed that as well as battling with constipation and diarrhoea, she has had to deal with the dreaded sulfur burps, which have left her with bad breath. Advertisement Sulfur burps, or burps with a rotten egg smell, occur due to the presence of hydrogen sulfide gas in the digestive tract. Many Mounjaro users have confessed to suffering from such burps, which have been described as 'absolutely disgusting'. Not only this, but Bethany claimed that she has also lost hair since using Mounjaro. And that's not all, as she has also experienced nausea, heartburn, wind, and reflux. Advertisement The tenth side effect Bethany has experienced is appetite suppression, which is a direct implication of using Mounjaro, which works by making you feel fuller for longer. Despite the 10 side effects Bethany has been faced with, she beamed: 'But on the plus side I did lose six stone in nine months and I am such a better version of myself.' Weight Loss Jabs - Pros vs Cons Sun GP Dr Zoe Williams claimed that Mounjaro, which could soon be rolled out on the NHS, can save the lives of people with 'life-threatening levels of obesity'. But despite this, the NHS warned: 'Never take an anti-obesity medicine if it has not been prescribed to you. Advertisement "These types of medicines may not be safe for you and can cause serious side effects.' And this isn't the first time Bethany has been candid about her Mounjaro journey, as she previously claimed that she decided to use the injections after spending her "whole adult life wanting nothing but to be skinny". Bethany was fed up of feeling 'insecure' and initially topped the scales at 15 stone 12 lbs, but after less than a year, lost six stone. Advertisement The content creator claimed that alongside using Mounjaro, she was also calorie counting and 'only started exercising after the majority of the weight had gone'. Everything you need to know about fat jabs Weight loss jabs are all the rage as studies and patient stories reveal they help people shed flab at almost unbelievable rates, as well as appearing to reduce the risk of serious diseases. Wegovy – a modified version of type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic – and Mounjaro are the leading weight loss injections used in the UK. Wegovy, real name semaglutide, has been used on the NHS for years while Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a newer and more powerful addition to the market. Mounjaro accounts for most private prescriptions for weight loss and is set to join Wegovy as an NHS staple this year. How do they work? The jabs work by suppressing your appetite, making you eat less so your body burns fat for energy instead and you lose weight. They do this my mimicking a hormone called GLP-1, which signals to the brain when the stomach is full, so the drugs are officially called GLP-1 receptor agonists. They slow down digestion and increase insulin production, lowering blood sugar, which is why they were first developed to treat type 2 diabetes in which patients' sugar levels are too high. Can I get them? NHS prescriptions of weight loss drugs, mainly Wegovy and an older version called Saxenda (chemical name liraglutide), are controlled through specialist weight loss clinics. Typically a patient will have to have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, classifying them as medically obese, and also have a weight-related health condition such as high blood pressure. GPs generally do not prescribe the drugs for weight loss. Private prescribers offer the jabs, most commonly Mounjaro, to anyone who is obese (BMI of 30+) or overweight (BMI 25-30) with a weight-related health risk. Private pharmacies have been rapped for handing them out too easily and video calls or face-to-face appointments are now mandatory to check a patient is being truthful about their size and health. Are there any risks? Yes – side effects are common but most are relatively mild. Around half of people taking the drug experience gut issues, including sickness, bloating, acid reflux, constipation and diarrhoea. Dr Sarah Jarvis, GP and clinical consultant at said: 'One of the more uncommon side effects is severe acute pancreatitis, which is extremely painful and happens to one in 500 people.' Other uncommon side effects include altered taste, kidney problems, allergic reactions, gallbladder problems and hypoglycemia. Evidence has so far been inconclusive about whether the injections are damaging to patients' mental health. Figures obtained by The Sun show that, up to January 2025, 85 patient deaths in the UK were suspected to be linked to the medicines. The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @bethanydianax, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 107,400 views, 438 likes and 53 comments. Numerous other Mounjaro users eagerly flocked to the comments, keen to share the side effects they have experienced whilst using fat jabs. Advertisement One person said: 'I had my first jab yesterday and the nausea this morning was unreal! Reminded me of being pregnant.' But on the plus side I did lose six stone in nine months and I am such a better version of myself Bethany Diana Another added: 'I can't handle the nausea and loose bowels!' A third commented: 'It's the sulfur burps and the feeling of nausea which I cannot stand, especially when I'm hardly eating anything to cause it.' Meanwhile, someone else asked: 'Anyone got a bruised stomach? I didn't on the first three injections but I have on the last two.' Advertisement Be aware of the dangers In addition to nasty side effects, those debating whether to begin using Mounjaro should know that it can also have fatal consequences. The injections are licensed for patients with type 2 diabetes and are administered every seven days. 4 They are also available to assist those who are clinically obese (with a Body Mass Index of 30 or over). Advertisement The drugs, which have been widely regarded as 'fat jabs', can be prescribed by a practitioner - such as a doctor, nurse or a pharmacist-independent prescriber. But increasingly, we are seeing more and more people buying them through online pharmacies, without sufficient checks. Not only this, but recently, figures from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency revealed that fat jabs had been linked to 82 deaths across the UK. Following the death of a man from Burton upon Trent, Staffs, who died after taking Mounjaro, his family are now calling for a probe into the jab's "potential to kill." Brits forced into HUGE queues at Spain airport fearing kids would ‘suffocate' in lines so big planes couldn't disembark

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) HUNDREDS of Brit tourists have been trapped like cattle in "inhuman" conditions at a Spanish airport - forcing politicians into a crisis meeting. Parents had to lift their children in the air to "stop them suffocating" in the crush at Tenerife airport this week. Several UK flights arrived in quick succession, and there were just two passport booths staff by four officers on hand to process the hoards. Progress was agonisingly slow - with passengers crammed in line for over two hours before finally getting through. Some were even held on the stuffy plane on the runway for almost an hour while the backlog cleared. Conditions were sweltering inside the airport, with some even branding the nightmare "inhuman". Lourdes Torrecillas, a Tenerife resident returning from Bristol, told local media the situation "claustrophobic" and "third world". She was made to sit on the plane for 45 minutes and said: "Once inside, we couldn't move our arms, we could barely breathe, and people were sweating. "Some parents lifted their children onto their shoulders to stop them from suffocating. There were no toilets, and people were visibly distressed.' The local fumed: 'This was an inhumane wait. These are people who've paid to enjoy a few days of sunshine, they shouldn't be treated like cattle.' Major Brit holiday airport fumigated after infestation of BEDBUGS with passengers & airline staff reporting itchy bites Lourdes slammed the lack of medical care and revealed that the airline did not even provide children with water. She also claimed staff said the airport descends into similar chaos "almost every night". But the exhausted passenger ultimately laid the blame at the feet of the airport operator, AENA, and called on the government to boost the workforce. One of the reasons behind Monday's bedlam was that the airport's automatic check in system could not process children's passports. This led to families with restless kids and piles of luggage stranded in crowds for hours. 5 There were just two passport booths run by four officers processing the crowds Credit: Tiktok 5 Tenerife is a hugely popular holiday destination thanks to its idyllic coastline Credit: Getty The President of Tenerife's ruling council, Rosa Dávila, called an emergency meeting following the mayhem. She admitted the situation was "unacceptable", but blamed a lack of border staff which she said has been a problem ever since Brexit. Similar chaos has played out at the airport in the past during peak tourism season. Dávila said she had written to mainland politicians but feels abandoned by them. She vented: "There's a serious lack of respect towards Tenerife. "We're managing essential services locally, but without state support, we're being left to fail." The Tenerife hotel association, Ashotel, has repeatedly warned that these intolerable delays will spoil the island's reputation and deter Brits from coming. Tenerife's Tourism Minister, Lope Afonso, warned: "This is the first impression our visitors get. "After hours on a plane, they're met with long waits and no explanation. "It's not acceptable, and it's hurting our brand as a quality tourist destination." He continued: "Tenerife competes globally. Other countries have adapted their systems since Brexit. Why haven't we? "We need immediate solutions to avoid this happening again, especially with the busy summer season ahead."

The Sun's Head of Travel Lisa Minot has explained exactly what Brits need to know. "Travellers used to be able to roll over up to nine unused months from their old passport onto a new one. "But post-Brexit, anyone wanting to travel to the EU can no longer rely on those extra months. "In order to travel to the EU, all passports must be no more than 10 years old on the day you arrive in your European destination. "And you'll need at least three months on your passport on the day you head back to the UK. "Figures have shown up to 100,000 holidaymakers a year face being turned away at airports if their passport is more than 10 years old. "The 10-year rule only applies to countries in the European Union but every country may have different rules on what is accepted - some countries like South Africa, for example, insist you have at least six months left on your passport when you travel and a full clear page." The Tenerife hotel association, Ashotel, has repeatedly warned that these intolerable delays will spoil the island's reputation and deter Brits from coming. This Morning star reveals HUGE change to the show amid ITV cuts

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A THIS Morning star has revealed a pretty seismic change to the show's rules amid the ITV cuts and subsequent bloodbath. Sweeping changes were announced earlier this month to ITV Daytime shows that will impact the likes of This Morning, Loose Women and Lorraine. 6 This Morning star Rochelle Humes has revealed a HUGE change to the show amid ITV cuts Credit: ITV 6 Rochelle revealed the rule in a TikTok video Credit: Tiktok 6 She showed her fans the process of getting ready for the show Credit: Tiktok 6 Rochelle could be seen donning blue jeans and a white shirt Credit: Tiktok 6 Fans loved the chic look Credit: Tiktok More than 220 jobs will be lost as part of the shake-up — meaning almost half of the 450 employed on the four flagship shows GMB, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will be let go. But amid the changes, This Morning have introduced a new rule. The show has long had an unwritten rule in place that meant presenters could not wear a specific item of clothing. All of the presenters - past and present - are known for being dressed smartly. Rochelle Humes, who is now a staple of the This Morning rotation, revealed the new rule. Ahead of an episode earlier this week, Rochelle took to TikTok to tell her fans about the rule change. The 35-year-old former star of The Saturdays said: "There's a new rule, we didn't used to be allowed to wear jeans, did we? "But we can wear jeans now. "This is amazing news for me." Reacting to her video on the social media platform, fans were quick to swoon over the outfit she had picked out for the show. This Morning viewers can't believe Dermot O'Leary's 'real age' as he and Alison Hammond celebrate his birthday on air "Smart yet casual yet fun & relaxed," said one. "Obsessed with this outfit," penned a second. Rochelle then appeared live on the show wearing a pair of light-wash River Island denim jeans. This isn't the only way the show has started to become more relatable. ITV's daytime TV schedule changes in full Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily. Lorraine will run from 9.30am-10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year. During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am. This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year. Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year. The changes will take effect from January 2026. Cat Deeley, who is one of the show's new anchors, was recently asked to embrace her Brummie accent. The star's Birmingham accent was softened during her years on American TV, but now she has been asked to lean back into it as to appeal to the UK audience. An ITV insider previously told MailOnline: "This Morning want presenters their audiences can relate to and there were worries Cat was too perfect and preened." This comes amid ITV's shocking shakeup that will see hundreds of people lose their jobs at the channel. Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily.
