Parade, cultural festival at PU
Chandigarh: PU marked the 79th
Independence Day
with a flag hoisting ceremony, parade, and cultural performances at the University Parade Ground. Vice-chancellor Prof Renu Vig, who unfurled the national flag, addressed the gathering and spoke about the institution's recent achievements and ongoing projects.
Highlighting infrastructure upgrades, Prof Vig said PU had been ranked in the 601–800 band in the Times Higher Education World Rankings and 901–950 in the QS World University Rankings 2025. TNN
