Exclusive – Elvish Yadav reacts to winning Roadies XX; says, 'Gullu is a deserving winner and I'm very happy he won the show'

Roadies XX has come to an end with Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu from gang Elvish and Hartaaj from gang Prince winning the show. The grand finale was a total blast and fans enjoyed every bit of it. Elvish Yadav gave an exclusive interview to Times of India TV where he opened up about the show, his journey as a gang leader, and much more. Elvish expressed his excitement as he won the show with Gullu. Talking about the same, he said, 'I'm very happy and excited that Gullu won the show. He's a deserving winner and I'm excited that he was in my gang. He didn't get many chances to prove himself in the start. However, whenever he got a chance, he played very well.' Elvish then opened up about his journey on the show and said, 'It was my debut season and I didn't expect to win it. I learnt many things from my fellow gang leaders and I've a very good bond with all of them.' Gullu, on the other hand, said, 'Winning Roadies Double Cross wasn't just a title — it was a silent scream finally heard. There was no support, no guiding hand, no one to lift me when I was down. I went through it all alone. This win is more than a trophy. It's a symbol — for every person who's ever felt alone, who's ever been told they're not enough. I walked this path by myself, but I never gave up. And that's what this victory is: not fame, not glory — but proof that even when you have nothing, you can still become everything. '

Exclusive - Daya Shankar Pandey aka Inspector Chalu Pandey on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah; says 'Ye sirf ek show nahi, mere jeevan ka ek bahut hi zaruri ang hai'

Seasoned actor Daya Shankar Pandey , who is popularly known as Inspector Chulbul Pandey from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently opened up about his long association with show and it's producer Asit Kumarr Modi. In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Daya Shankar called the popular sitcom as an important part of his life. Speaking about being a part of TMKOC, Daya Shankar said, "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sirf ek show nahi hai ye mere jeevan ka ek bahut hi zaruri ang hai (TMKOC is not just a show for me, it's a deeply important part of my life). I'm not bringing this up to place any expectations on the show's producer and creator, Asit Kumarr Modi. Our association dates all the way back to 1986, during our college years—he was my senior at the time, and we've remained in touch ever since. I must also highlight that he is a gifted performer. Choosing to step away from acting was a thoughtful move on his part, perhaps even guided by fate. He was truly talented, having earned multiple accolades in inter-college drama competitions." Daya Shankar Pandey, known for his roles in numerous hit Bollywood films, also spoke about a pivotal moment in Asit Kumarr Modi's journey. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Scam Exposed: What They Won't Tell You about zero trust! Expertinspector Click Here Undo He shared that directing a stage play marked a significant turning point in Modi's career. He shared, "Asit Kumarr Modi was my senior in college. After he graduated, we continued participating in inter-college drama competitions. I remember one particular day — I was rehearsing for a college play, but we didn't have a director. We never had the budget to hire directors from outside. That day, Asit ji came to see the rehearsals. He was just watching from the side, observing the process closely. He once told to me, 'Pandey, should I direct you?' At that time, we didn't have the budget to hire a professional director, and since he had the experience, being my senior, I agreed immediately. I told him, 'Yes, go ahead and direct.' He ended up directing that play, which was titled Bhikhmange, written by Sudhir Kodi ji. It turned out to be a major success and received several awards across inter-college drama competitions, including Best Director and Best Play. That play became a turning point for him, and as you can see today, he's successfully running Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Sometimes I jokingly feel a bit envious that he gave up on acting to become a producer. Maybe if I had taken a similar path, I'd be in a comfortable position too (laughs)." For those who might not know, Inspector Chalu Pandey first joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2010. He made his debut during a memorable plotline where Jethalal, Sodhi, Iyer, and Nattu Kaka were wrongly accused and arrested in connection with a car theft. This marked the beginning of the character's recurring presence in the show. Video: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Promo)

Exclusive: Ashi Singh reacts to her age-gap with Shabir Ahluwalia in the show ‘Ufff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil'; says ‘It never felt like I am working with someone very senior'

Ashi Singh , who is currently seen as Kairi Sharma in Ufff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil, recently addressed the much-discussed age gap between her and her co-star Shabir Ahluwalia. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, Ashi shared her thoughts on the dynamic and her experience working alongside the seasoned actor. Talking about their onscreen equation, she revealed, 'Till now we are mostly doing that nok-jhok and clash session and I really hope that this chemistry — because that is more difficult to show — I hope that comes out very well. Rest, when you work with Shabbir sir, it never felt like I am working with someone very senior.' Despite Shabir's long-standing presence in the industry, Ashi emphasized how grounded and approachable he is on set. 'Of course, I know in my head that he is very senior, he is amazing in his work. But he never gives you that vibe, he never makes you feel that way. So it's a very comforting space with him. So it's not that difficult to work with him. He is an easy person to work with,' she added. Addressing the topic of age-gap romances, Ashi reflected on how perspectives have evolved, both onscreen and off. 'In fact, I would say recently and in the last few years only we are watching this age gap thing. Before that, there was nothing like that. In our real life, there was a taboo that age difference should be this much. Like we used to say that the girl should be younger. So now in our real life, there is nothing like this. Girl can be older, boy can be older… If your age is 18 and you want to marry a 40-year-old, you are free to do what you want to do.' The actress believes the audience is more accepting today. 'So even if we are showing this, people are accepting that this is possible. This is not something that can't happen.' Describing her character, Ashi said, 'Kairi is full of life, hope, and conviction — she's someone who truly believes in love, in purpose, and in creating her own path. What drew me to her character is that she's not afraid to be vulnerable, yet she's incredibly strong in her beliefs. She's the kind of person who walks into a room and lights it up but also has the depth to navigate the most difficult situations with grace. Working with Shabir has been amazing; he brings so much nuance and restraint to his performance, and that contrast plays out beautifully onscreen. '

Exclusive: Wagle Ki Duniya actor Sheehan Kapahi shares his summer vacation plans; says ‘My mom has made it very clear that it's time to focus on studies'

While most teenagers are packing their bags for a summer getaway or lounging through their school break, 14-year-old Wagle Ki Duniya actor Sheehan Kapahi is navigating a different path—one that balances board exam prep with shooting for a beloved television show. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, Sheehan opened up about his summer plans, academic pressure, and the bittersweet joys of growing up in front of the camera. For Sheehan, this summer looks quite different from the typical break. 'I had earlier planned a trip to my hometown,' he shared, 'but later my summer plans shifted. Instead of travelling, my mom has made it very clear that it's time to buckle down and focus on studies, especially since I'm in 10th grade and board exams are coming up!' While vacations may be off the table, Sheehan remains upbeat. 'Alongside that, I've been shooting for Wagle Ki Duniya, which keeps me busy. It's hectic, yes. But I'm doing something I love, so I feel lucky.' Balancing academics with acting is no easy task, especially for a student entering the crucial board exam year. Sheehan explained how he manages the tightrope walk. 'Honestly, it takes a lot of coordination and a lot of patience! I think I've become our EP's biggest troublemaker on set (in a good way). I'm always asking if there's a gap in the shoot schedule so I can study, or requesting scenes to be moved around to make time for tuitions. ' He adds with gratitude, 'The entire team is really supportive. They make sure I get enough time for my academics, which helps me manage both without too much stress.' Despite the support, there are moments when Sheehan feels the sting of missing a 'normal' summer. 'My friends are out visiting their grandparents, playing cricket, or just hanging out, and I sometimes wish I could join them,' he admitted. 'But then I remind myself how special this opportunity is. Not every 14-year-old gets to be part of a show like Wagle Ki Duniya, which is so loved and meaningful.' When it comes to unwinding, Sheehan knows how to make the most of his limited free time. 'If I'm too tired to step out, we set up an online gaming session, that way we can still hang out virtually. On days when I just want to unwind, I love sitting down with my parents to watch a movie at home.' More than just a job, Wagle Ki Duniya has become a learning ground for Sheehan. 'Being part of this show has been an education in itself. It's taught me discipline, time management, and how to handle responsibility at a young age,' he said. 'Sometimes I learn from the scripts, and sometimes just by watching and talking to the amazing people around me.' As he juggles school, work, and personal growth, one thing's clear—Sheehan Kapahi is not just acting in a family drama; he's living one, full of lessons, laughter, and dreams.

Exclusive: Shabir Ahluwalia on his wife Kanchi Kaul's reaction to his new role as Yug in ‘Ufff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil'; says ‘She loved it'

Television heartthrob Shabir Ahluwalia is making a much-anticipated return to the small screen in a fresh new avatar. Playing the role of Yug, a sharp-witted and emotionally complex lawyer in Ufff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil, Shabir brings a unique charm to the character. Known for his powerful screen presence, the actor underwent a major transformation for the role—shedding 14 kgs in just three months through a sustainable and holistic approach. In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Shabir opened up about his wife Kanchi Kaul's reaction to his new role. 'She really loved the promos,' he shared with a smile. 'It's a slice-of-life take on a television show. It's not too preachy or morose. It is very light and entertaining and a fresh space. You won't get to see this often.' Describing the essence of the show, he added, 'It launches the love story between two people. It's a love story between two ideologies and how when they meet, sparks will fly—which will eventually translate to love or not, audiences will get to see in Love Hai Mushkil.' On what drives him to take up new roles, Shabir explained, 'Every time I take up a script, I see how different it is from my earlier roles and how entertaining it is. It's very important for you to believe in a script before you believe in a role.' He elaborated further, 'When you think of your role, you get greedy and start thinking, 'My role is like this,' and tend to overlook the script. It is important for a script to be entertaining and moving in totality. The audience watches you for a long time—they don't just fall in love with you as a person, but also the things you do. It's a journey, a process—from reading the script to coming on screen—and for me, that's the most enjoyable part of filmmaking. '
