RATS!
The Rat City Arts Festival — now in its fourth year — is dedicated to spreading awareness of Allston's rodent population while uplifting the many creatives who have made the neighborhood their home. Musical acts are scheduled throughout the day, and local illustrators, painters, and other creators will display and sell their work in Artist Alley. In preparation for the event, a guided 'Rat Walk' will take place on Wednesday, visiting rat hotspots in the neighborhood.

CULTURE IN THE COMMON
Stop by the Common for the two-day African Festival of Boston for live performances of traditional and fusion music with origins across the diaspora. The 15th annual celebration centers on highlighting cultural traditions, experiences, and art, including authentic African and Caribbean food vendors and an interactive Habesha ceremony for Ethiopian coffee. The event also features family-friendly games and activities as well as open workshops to learn about African history.
