Cardiac charity raises nearly £30k at summer party
A Southampton cardiac charity has raised nearly £30,000 at a summer party.
More than 200 guests gathered at the Concorde Club to support Heartbeat, raising a total of £27,492.
The event featured live entertainment from Compere Adger Brown, magician Colin Phillips, Roy G Hemmings, and The Primettes, as well as a raffle and silent auction.

The funds will help support activity days and residential trips for young cardiac patients.

Tina Tolley, head of business and donor development, said: "We had a fantastic turnout on the day and we're so grateful to everyone who came and helped make it a success."
