Defending champions Tinahely held with Healy to the rescue for Rathnew
Bray People Today at 17:30 A POINT from substitute Sam Healy in the fifth minute of added time rescued a valuable point for Rathnew in an exciting finish to this Boom & Platform Hire Senior Football Championship contest played at Echelon Park, Aughrim, on Friday evening last. Defending champions Tinahely looked to have put themselves into a winning position when Eoin D'Arcy pointed a free three minutes into a five-minute added time period but in a last fling of the dice Adam Byrne placed Sam Healy to shoot the equaliser.

Latest on risk of storm as huge uncertainty remains in Irish forecast
There remains a risk of a storm next Tuesday though there is still major uncertainty in the weather forecast, an expert Irish forecaster has revealed. Weather models currently indicate the possibility of a storm potentially affecting some parts of the country after the August Bank Holiday weekend. The storm could be intense for certain areas, however it could equally make little to no impact. Confidence in the forecast will improve as the days go on but the advice is currently to continue monitoring developments in the forecast. Alan O'Reilly, who mans the ever-popular @CarlowWeather account on X, last night delivered the latest update on the potential storm. "A lot of uncertainty still on Monday," he said on X. "That risk of a storm, that's still there, but the latest weather models... it brings it further south. That brings more rain on Monday but it keeps the strongest winds away. "But there's huge uncertainty on where that storm ends up and whether it will be quite intense or nothing really much to worry about. "So any forecast you see for Monday at the moment, they're going to chop and they're going to change. "I know Tinahely show's on, lots of things on Monday but don't worry too much at the moment but just keep up to date because it is going to chop and change a lot." The good news is after the wet and windy weather on Monday and Tuesday, high pressure is expected to become dominant for the rest of next week, which will bring with it more settled conditions. During this period, rain is forecast to be below average across the country and temperatures are set to be slightly above average for this time of year. Why I played my saxophone to Baileys Irish Cream cows
From the time dairy farmer Joe Hayden was a child, he knew that music played a powerful role in helping his cows produce top-quality milk. For years the gravelly voice of Bruce Springsteen and bands such as Coldplay have been credited with helping to make the cream used in Baileys, one of Ireland's most recognisable exports. Twice a day at the family farm near Tinahely in Co Wicklow, Hayden's 230 'Baileys ladies' expect their favourite tunes to be delivered to them via Spotify. In addition, each one is equipped with a personalised Fitbit around their necks to monitor their health and wellbeing. In short, they are among Ireland's most pampered cows, and must be kept happy and well fed at all times to deliver a product that's a cut above their bovine counterparts.
