In the video, Chef is cleaning around his tree stump home and gets a phone call from Nickelodeon, which has aired the series since 2022. 'You ready to cook up some more episodes? I got a million ideas,' Tiny Chef says excitedly into the phone before gasping. 'Canceled?' he says aghast. 'What do you mean, canceled?' He scrambles to convince the person on the other end, saying, 'I have ideas that will blow your minds!' In a sad tone, he says, 'But we won an Emmy?' before concluding the call. 'I understand. I love you too,' Tiny Chef says. Tiny Chef hangs up the phone and tries to resume dusting a plant. He quickly covers his face with his hands, moves over to sit on the edge of his bed and cries. In the caption, the show's creators asked fans to help with crowdfunding to keep the series going after the 'very unexpected' cancellation. They thanked the network for two 'blamazing' seasons and wrote, 'Chef wouldn't want anyone to blame his friends over there, he's just deeply sad he doesn't get to continue hosting a show he adores.' The announcement blew up, quickly garnering more than 17,000 comments on Instagram.
