CM to inaugurate Dial-112 service today
Bhopal: CM Mohan Yadav will inaugurate Madhya Pradesh Police's new emergency service Dial-112 on Thursday. Director general of police Kailash Makwana will also be present at the event. Additional director general of police (radio/telecommunication) Sanjeev Shami said Dial-112 will be an integrated, smart and multi-agency emergency response service, carrying forward the legacy of Dial-100. Considering the growing needs and the requirement for multi-agency coordination, the Dial-112 service is being launched. Now, all major services, including Police (100), health/ambulance (108), fire (101), women's helpline (1090), cybercrime (1930), railway assistance (139), highway accident response (1099), natural disaster (1079), and women & child helplines (181, 1098), will be accessible through a single number, 112. 100-meter long Tiranga leads Tiranga Yatra in Jammu
Jammu, May 20 (UNI) Portraying patriotism and solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces, a 'Tiranga Yatra' was organised by the Citizens for National Security, Jammu in Ward No. 9, Jammu. President, J&K BJP Sat Sharma accompanied by Yudhvir Sethi, Vice-President and MLA, Priya Sethi, former Minister, Rajesh Gupta, District President, Sanjita Dogra, President, BJP Mahila Morcha, former JMC Councillor Suneet Raina and others prominent persons participated in the Tiranga Yatra. The Yatra was led by an awe-inspiring 100-meter-long national flag, held aloft by spirited children who symbolized the future of a proud and resolute nation. The event saw enthusiastic participation from nearly one thousand citizens, cutting across age groups and backgrounds. Yatra commenced at Ved Mandir near Shree Institute and culminated at Kachi Chawni, Jammu. Sat Sharma, while addressing on the occasion, lauded the Indian Forces for their valiance and sacrifices. He said that our rich history is filled with the stories of valour and moments of pride. He termed the Operation Sindoor as one of the historic moments, when our nation has shown its true power to the world. Priya Sethi said that India is proud of the successful Operation Sindoor and hence the people in different areas are organizing Tiranga Rallies to support Indian Forces in the fight against terrorism. Tiranga rallies a huge success: BJP leader
Former MLC and BJP National co in-charge for Tamil Nadu and Karnataka Dr Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy reviewed the progress of the ongoing Tiranga Rallies during a key coordination meeting of the District and State Tiranga Yatra Committee members in Selaiyur, East Tambaram, Chennai. Addressing the gathering, Sudhakar Reddy praised the valour of the Indian Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor and lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged all party functionaries to involve citizens in the Tiranga Yatra as a show of solidarity and commitment to national unity and security.
