Traffic diversion for Tiranga run: Check routes and guidelines here
The Directorate of Education, Government of NCT, is organising the "Tiranga Run" on Sunday, 10th August 2025, starting from 6 AM onwards. The run will begin at Thyagraj Stadium and proceed along designated roads, concluding at the National War Memorial in New REGULATIONS AND DIVERSIONSTo ensure smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow during the event, traffic movement will be regulated and diverted on certain stretches and roads in South Delhi near Thyagraj Stadium. Specific traffic restrictions will be enforced on the day of the run.
advertisementSPECIAL TRAFFIC DIVERSION POINTSUnder Safdarjung Airport Flyover Red LightTraffic from Sarojini Nagar side to Jagannath Marg heading towards Thyagraj Stadium will be diverted towards Aurobindo Metro Station T-point on Aurobindo MargVehicles on Aurobindo Marg intending to proceed towards Gujjar Chowk via Chandu Lal Valmiki Marg will be restricted. Motorists are advised to use Ring Road via AIIMS Loop or continue straight on Aurobindo Marg.2nd Avenue – Jor Bagh CrossingTraffic coming from Jor Bagh side towards 4th Avenue Road will be diverted at 2nd Avenue-Jor Bagh ROADSCommuters may experience heavy traffic or face restrictions on Jagannath Marg, Chandu Lal Valmiki Marg, 4th Avenue Road, and Lodhi Road. The public is advised to avoid these routes on 10 August 2025 between 6:00 am and 9:00 VEHICLESEmergency vehicles such as Delhi Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, and others on duty will have free access on all roads despite restrictions.
