Jacob Seibers, a YouTuber known for his anime and manga content under the name Chibi Reviews, is currently embroiled in controversy. With over 466K subscribers, Seibers is popular for his daily uploads that cover anime reviews and updates on the latest community news. He first joined YouTube in 2013, although his original channel was suspended. He later launched Chibi Reviews in December 2013, making YouTube his full-time career by mid-2014. Seibers' content primarily revolves around anime reviews and discussions, with highlights including episodes of Unlimited Blade Works and Tokyo Ghoul. His most popular video has garnered nearly 1 million views. In addition to his main channel, Seibers operates a backup channel, Chibi Otaku, though it has a smaller following with only 1.2K subscribers. Recently, Seibers has been at the center of serious allegations. In November 2024, his alleged ex-girlfriend, Samantha May (@samieesweetiee), shared disturbing claims on X (formerly Twitter). She accused Seibers of emotional abuse, alleging that he took advantage of her and caused her significant weight loss, which dropped to 70 lbs (31 kg). May reflected on the relationship, stating, 'I was constantly taken advantage of, neglected, treated horribly.'
